If he does go this week, I dare say that the board have been sniffing around some other managers, asking them their thoughts on taking over if it all goes * up.

Now that it is clearly evident beyond all apprehension that it has went * up, things are staring us in the eyes.

The Celtic support are badly disillusioned at the moment, this is similar to the Barnes era, where the board knew they had to go out and get a manager of stature and someone who was provan that could build a side, get the support on board, and deal with the media

    In came MO'N

I see big simmilarities with Mogga and the reign of PLG at Ibrox, where the majority of the players he brought in went within a year, with only maybe Papac remaining. I like guys like Ki etc... but have to question wether he be built for the fight against a Walter Smiths Rangers side.

People also rave about Thomson, Rassmusen, Rogne, Hooifveld etc... but what we have seen from these guys has not exactly been awe enspiring. maybe to early to judge rass, Rogne and hooifveld, also meaning can we trust that they will make it at celtic park?

Fortune also, came onto a game of late, but in the whole, a major dissapointment, and for £4M, we need a league winner in our side for that.

The next man who comes in, needs to build a strong side from the back the way Mo'N did, needs money to spend and would need to be of a higher profile than our 2 previous bosses.

I would like to see a British based manager, someone who has EPL experience, wether we could attract this type of boss and player is another matter.

We should be targetting a new boss now, with him pinpointing players for the Champs league qualifiers, and getting a team assembled early, so we can hit the ground running next season.

We need a homegrowm (Scottish/British/Irish) spine built throughout the team, players with big personalities who are winners.

Past successes have shown us that this is the way forward, not only for us, but for most succesful sides. We cannot alow the next manager to clutter our side with average foreign players, who we will struggle to sell on and more than likely make a loss on.

Like everyone else, i would love to see guys like Moyes, Hodgson etc... Come to Celtic Park, but it juts aint gona happen, we do not have that pull anymore, wish i was wrong, but its staring us in the face.

Hopefully the board will back their convictions, when Mogga goes, do their homework, bring a manager in who has success in what we need, ticks all the boxes and hits the ground running.

Its the only way we will have a crowd at Celtic Park next year.

This is worse than the Barnes era, but the board are banging on about this five year plan!!! So why was it easy to sack Barnes? did he come in with only a 6month plan? I don't think so!

The board need to get a * grip, if they are worried about pay offs for sacking him they should think about the money this mug will lose us in this five year plan anyway!

Last nights result might be a blessing in disguise as the board might just see that this impostor can not handle the two horse race that is the SPL.

We have gone from fighting to the last game of the season last year, to pundits asking can they be caught by third place team!!! We are now just another SPL team and its all down to a hapless uncharismatic * donkey.

THIS MAN COULD NOT MOTIVATE A HEN TO LAY A * EGG!!!

This is ready made for Trappatoni to take tempory charge with Lenny as his right Hand Man ..That should ease the ship and he also has a relationship with Desmond who bankrolls him in the ROI job ...Thats what i would do .

Mowbray out as soon as and fire Lennon in temp charge as hes doing well with the reserves only beat twice all year off sunderland & motherwell, While hes in charge they can get someone to come in around May as not many managers will be keen on taking over a new club at this stage of a season, Look towards guys like Bilic, Hughes, Trappatoni, Levein

Can see us struggling to get a name in, remember it was a rigmarole to get Mowbray in the first place. Financially I am against sacking Mowbray and his team, can we not get them to resign as that is what they should do - slightly off track sorry but I am consumed with anger with them.

Dave Jones at Cardiff has done a cracking job. He'd be on a shortlist of mine.

They may as well put lenny in temporary charge and sort it a permanent replacement in the summer.

I know what you are saying and agree he's done a good job but I think the child * abuse allegations (that he was charged with) before they were dropped , would make him a sitting duck , coming into this territory..

There's a lot of managers I think can do the job but for various reasons I just wouldn't want them because they are easy targets.. TM got it tight up here from the very start and I think we'll need someone who's unbreakable..
