I would say 3 of the most important goals at CP were scored against us by ICT. It got Barnes sacked and paved the way for the O'Neill era and the most successfull period we had in decades.

Yes:50:. Was just about to say that. Easily by far the most important goal as far as i am concerned as them * would have no doubt got 10 in a row if not.

How about Billy McNeil's winner in the '65 Cup Final at the start of Big Jock's reign?

Mazzola's soft penalty against us in Lisbon.

Anyone who has watched that match can see after Inter got their penalty their plan was to sit back and try to hold on, which played perfectly into Celtic's hands. Giving our most famous team 85 minutes to run at them, and rarely if ever crossing the halfway line again. Once Gemmell equalized it was only ever a matter of time.

So cheers, to whoever the ref was who awarded that ridiculously soft spotkick, and cheers to Inter, for employing such negative tactics. And the biggest cheers, to the Lions for giving us all something 'that other team' never will.

Totally agree. That was the goal that had all the Celtic fans and players believing we could stop ten in a row.

Ive never been at a more tense game than the final game against St Johnstone, i can still remember the free header from 6 yards that Boyle missed late in the game which would have gave them the draw. But what a day it was, the place was jumping!!!!
