    if he goes now id like to see lennon brought in as caretaker until end of season. After that * knows. Maybe the questions should be, who wants to replace him?

    There is 1 or 2 options, 1= we go down the caretaker root like lennon/mcstay.......
    or otion 2 we get someone in to * the squad and get ready for the summer (next season) like Hughes, bilic, keane????............................ or the board keeps mowbray!!!! lol ;-)

    I know i am going to be told to * off here but what about Steve Mclaren? Aye he did * with England but he got middlesburgh to 7th in the EPL as well as a Uefa cup final on a limited budget, becoming their most successful manager. He is now doing really well at Twente in Holland, got them top with a couple of games to go.

    I know he would be unpopular cause he is not a "Celtic man" but we have to consider these choices as people like Roy Hodgens and Mark Hughes are not going to come to the SPL never mind the top top class managers.

    Also he would be eager to prove himself in Britain again after failing so badly with England

    good shout, got treated badly cause of his england time. ya did well with boro and was just reading an article recently on him and his time at fc twente in holland. top of the league and looks like winning it with a few games to go. very highly rated in Holland.

    feed the bear. big roy aitken with henrik on board i think they would do the job. roy has learned the trade now even if hes been a number 2 to mcleish im sure he would have more tactical knowledge than tm

    Another possibilty is Mick McCarthy. I'm not saying he's good enough but I heard him on a radio show some time back saying he was flattered by some Celtic fans phoning in saying theyd like to see him at Celtic one day.
