I think it's a bit harsh to be so critical of the signing of Riordan. The way some people are making it out, we should just give up on signing any scottish youth at all... what does that do in the long run for Scottish football? A player with the potential of Riordan for free can't be a bad thing can it? Have a little faith, eh?

Haha miracle eh? I just meant the folks being a little over-critical of GS's judgement.

Not at this very minute, but I do think he does have a good deal of potential - it's not as if we're risking a lot of money on him is it?

I think he's a better player than Beattie, and as good as Maloney

I think Beattie is a better striker and maloney a better playmaker

What's wrong with having another player who has the same sort of prospects as some of the other lads in the squad? That's like saying Barcelona shouldn't sign anyone since they're not going to find any players who are better than Ronaldinho.

Exactly, did you read the statement when we signed dion dublin or did you blindly say he wasn't good enough? Alot of people read blindly into the signing. Riordan wasnt signed as the make or break player he has alot to offer us. The eamon dunphy's can die a slow death

if it's the summer or January it makes no difference , 6 is too many , if on the other hand some of them are for the off then it's a different matter
