    "King of the wing" :56::56:

Seriously, I'd take £8m for him as that's probably the amount we'll get for him this summer.

the thing with mcgeady imo? he is an outstanding talent there is no dougt about that. the thing that * me off is he is waaaay to ball greedy and tries to beat one man too many and never friggin passes when he should. its so annoying watching him do this and also when he loses the ball he sits and greets at folk around him:31:. that is why i would just sell him,and also his final delivery at times is nothing more than scandolous tbh.

    Firsty, he hasn't scored
more than all our other midfielders put together, don't make up stats to suit your point.

Secondly, when he beats the last man the ball doesn't always go in the box, it quite often ends up in the stand, for it to be end product someone needs to be near getting on the end of it which rarely happens with his crosses. As for having fairies in the box, how many of Robbie Keane's goals has McGeady put the final ball in for? As far as I can remember, none, and I'm sure you don't class him as a fairy. And don't get me started on his * daisy cutter shots, he takes as many shots at goal as anyone in our team you'd think he'd have learned to kick it properly by now.

He has so many apologists in our support because he's a Celtic man and he chose Ireland over Scotland in my opinion. As for another winger with two good feet, skill, pace and heart try Shaun Maloney.

He's overrated (by myself in the past), he hasn't improved one bit in 5 years and if we get offered £8M I'd bite their hand off.

I think aidys a great player. I think he deseves to be given the ball as much as poss. He has the ability and I think when wee shaun maloney comes back the 2 of them will terrorrise defences. I think were not to far away from winning the league

i for selfish reasons would prefer mcgeady to stay(although for his own development i feel he would achieve more if he left).Hopefully the pressure can be taken off him by celtic investing in a couple of creative players in the summer but i cant see that happening .as stated above i would rather see the likes of brown sold and see what aiden can produce again playing with better players like he did when he first burst on the scene.Finaly i cant reveal my source but i have been told mcgeady is defo away in summer likes mowbary as a person but doesnt believe in him as a manager

Exactly man. I couldn't agree more, Mcgeady is by far one of my favorite players. It would kill me to see him go. But like Coco said I think he would develop better some where else.

I'd rarther let boruc go , we lost something big when naka left can you imagine the state we would be in if we let our best player go?

it is all very well saying we will get big bucks for him but we need to buy a replacement and it won't be easy finding one if he does leave

As much as I agree with the sentiment of your statement, in the modern age the reality is this isn't so. The Bosman ruling has made such a radical change in the balance of player power when it comes to negotiations etc.

If a player wants away his agent is only all too keen to market their agent's supposed availability, as it means a payday for them, not to mention that a player who wants away but is held against his will is far less likely to give 100%, not to mention the negativity it can create in the dressing room.

Would be carzy to let him go, even more crazy would be having maloney replace him.

    skilled guy=yes
    exciting player=yes
    frequently missing in games=yes
    end product=nowhere near enough

    i could go on,

sell and get someone in who maybe does not have all the tricks but does have a quality end product.

me.celticbhoy88 i can assure you my comments were not made as witchunt against mogga now it seems the st.mirren game will be what gets him sacked.im sure other people here have sources as well but cannot name them as it could get those involved into bother in hindsight perhaps i shouldnt mention the things revealed to me on a public forum but i prefer to let my fellow tims be kept in the loop
