Very comfortable result. Mom has to be McGowen, played a very good first half and should have found himself on the soresheet. Fair play to Samaras, he took his goal well.... always seems to do more when coming off the bench/ when he feels he has something to prove..

3 goals and clean sheet, can't ask for much more than that, hopefully we can keep this run of wins and clean sheets going.

Just in from the game. Good result but the flatest, most boring game i've watched.

On the way back from the game just now. Thought McGowan was brilliant first half but not so much in the second half. McGeady the opposite. Crosas was poor today however Ki was excellent when he came on. Samaras too was really impressive, so good substitutions from Mowbray.

Thought overall we played reasonably well against a team who didn't cause us any problems whatsoever, although I felt we were a little slow to start and struggled to get out of first gear before half time. Second half was a completely different story and we dominated completely with McGeady coming into his own. Keano had a quiet game but still got his goal which is good to see.

I'm still not convinced by Braafheid, and felt Wilson wasn't particularly good either.

Roll on Wednesday and next Saturday hopefully make it 5 wins and 5 clean sheets in a row.

Good performance today, hope we can continue forward with this.

Glad to see Gowser have a great game, especially after reading some of the negative comments in the pre match thread, after I had said early on that he was starting. he put Keane through 2 or 3 times early on in the game and could have scored himself, faded through the second half, maybe due to some of the heavy challenges but his ball retention was superb.

Mcgeady was terrible in the first half, looked a completely different player the second half with an outstanding performance. Also felt Fortune had a solid performance, and Ki was impressive when he came on.

We're having no trouble scoring and we're picking up clean sheets, this is more like it.

Dull but three points is three points. McGowan did well, chuffed for JT, good penalty from Keane and Samaras did well when he came on.

Nice to see a few goals, and another clean sheet.

Zaluska looked reliable on the few occasions he was called upon, mainly cross balls. Thompson and O'Dea were decent again.

    McGowan was brilliant.

Didnt fancy McGowan when I seen his name was on the teamsheet. Couldnt really see how they were going to line up. They played a kinda 4-5-1 but it was an attacking version. Liked it actually as it went 4-3-3 at times.

McGowan was top notch. Always looking for the ball and madesome good space. Some of his passing was top notch.

It was a poor game but the results are going well and the performances are getting there.

glad of the points, good for McGowan, but we haven't worked on corners,
if st Johnstone has as many players out as they say
    we are only mediocre then
