Yes, I realize we have just come off back to back clean sheets, but the defence still requires attending to before the new season starts.

Remember that both Thompson & Rogne are still only teenagers, albeit talented ones. It is good to have them there, but it is too soon to be relying on them sll the time... and then there is the long standing conundrum that is LB.

 

what about hammil for lb, would be cheap and knows the scottish game and i think it is highly unlikely hearts would enter into business with us for one of their players(ie wallace)

 

Possibly. TBH it seems that LB are something of a rare species, and good ones are even more so. I'm not ruling out Braafheid, because he does have some good attributes but there is no certainty of him staying, and my biggest question about him is related to his positioning. Having said that, I haven't seen him play since Kamara got knocked, so don't know if it was due to playing behind a guy who is not a natural winger, so doesn't track back and was drifting etc, or what.

we need a left back braffhied will go back to bayern,a strong midfielder to do the dirty work to let the likes of crosas and ki influence the game and to play as a team, when we lose the ball everyone needs to get involved in defending not just leave it to the 4 at the back

 

Hasnt braafheid already said he wont be staying and hes only using this loan as a way to be considered for the dutch world cup squad?

Id like to see us bring in lee wallace hes impressed me over the past couple of seasons and is a much better option than naylor.

 

Wasn't aware of Braafheid having stated this. It was obvious what his short term intentions were when he arrived.

That aside, I think we could do far worse than to make some enquiries about Wallace. Bottom line is, if we go into the new campaign and Lee Naylor is once again the 1st choice I will not be best pleased, and I don't think I am alone.

Sign Keane Kamara & N'Guemo if we can

Sign New Player wise - St Ledger, Wallace, A Winger

Sell - McManus, Maloney, Samaras, Loovens

 

McManus is already off.

As for signing kamara and keane, I dont think we will simply because if we do sign keane were going to need all the free money on the wage bill to fund it.
