Pardon me, but what the * is that all about!?

Wee man can whip pinpoint 50-yarder. Latest example was against Falkirk when he found Keane from center of field just to give him fantastic ball for 2:0.

As one member here would say, he has sniper pass.:56:

He makes good passes and has a bit of composure when on the ball. All good teams need someone who can lift their head and have a look and then pick a pass. Who else in the current lineup can pass over a distance or switch play because he has had a look?

Spot on. Crosas is not the type of player to win the ball. He needs someone to do that for him. I like N'guemo, but I can see why some people on here have raised questions about him. He can definitely win the ball and is great at breaking up oppositon attacks. However, his passing is shocking and I feel that at time's we are a player down when we have the ball as he's not realy an option. To often he turns attack into defence.

Couple of good passes like that a season, doesn't do it anywhere near often enough for me.

Doesn't do enough when we haven't got the ball either, was watching him at Rugby Park and he was just ball-watching for periods where he should have been getting stuck-in.

As I said before....Barcelona youth player - overrated.

    Marc Crosas, Crosas,
    He's better than Fabergas
    He fingered McGregors Burds *
    Oh Crosas, Crosas.

Anyway, would be one of the first names on the team sheet. He does the simple things very well, which is what we need right now.

Marc Crosas should be in the team. He has the best range of passing at the club.

Considering Tony Mowbray is a man who likes to play passing football, his treatment of Crosas mystifies me. He seems reluctant to make Crosas a regular part of the team and the games he does select Crosas he usually hooks him first when he wants to make a substitution. N'Guemo's distribution is inconsistent and Scott Brown's distribution is decidedly average. If you're going to be serious about playing a passing game you need at least one central midfield player who can spread the ball about and play the odd killer pass. Crosas gives us that. Also, the fact that he seems to link up so well with N'Guemo should be another reason for his inclusion in the team. Scott Brown and N'Guemo don't seem to have anywhere near the understanding that N'Guemo and Crosas have.

I'd be picking Marc Crosas every week at this point in time.

He's always reminded me of Gravesen - even when he was at Hibs he used to run about like one of those toys that charges forward till it hits something & then bounces aff.

Excellent we'll remove the only player in the middle of the park who's able to tackle. And we replace him with a player (KI)who's only telling contribution was to dive on the edge of the box and start a counter attack which cost us points. Although i do believe that Crosas should be playing, it should be with N'Guemo.

The problem I have with N'Guemo is that he tries to win balls back from the wrong side -never goal side and inevitably if the guy gets away, he has a yard or two advantage.
    Seems to happen too often.

he is a great player and yes he does make mistakes but people forget how young he is, a few years from now if he is given regular first team football, I can see him being given a call up to the spanish national team

    A couple?

Does there have to be a youtube montage before folk realise how regularly he picks out defence splitting passes? It was only the weekend just past he stuck Keane through one on one with the keeper with an inch perfect, amazingly spotted, pass that only he is capable of from our centre midfielders.

Doesn't really matter if he came from Barca or Raith Rovers, his technique with the ball at his feet and his game intelligence in finding space off it eclipses pretty much every player in our squad barring Keane.

As much as I do think Crosas is our best midfielder I think that is a bit OTT. Even Fabregas isn't guaranteed a game in the national team, and he and crosas are the same age.lol

I rate him but I do not like the way this thread is being turned into a Broony bashing opportunity. Broony was superb last game.

I agree with this, people don't notice Crosas becuase he's all technique and skill, people notice N'Guemo,Brown,Robson becuase these are people who tackle and 'dig-in'.

I don't know what Crosas has to do to pin down a place in the starting line-up, Mowbray wants good football, who better to be playing in the central midfield in our squad than Crosas?

I'll get bashed for saying this but i'll say it any way, But i don't know if it's me or what but any time i hear about brown popping up with shots and goals etc.... it's when he is out wide on the right, for scotland I would assume for a player like Brown his scoring record is nothing special of course but still pretty fair since he is meant to be gash i think in some ways scotland have found brown's role out wide.

also i like n'geumo alot think his tackling at times is better timed then our own * defenders some of the sliding tackles he can put in, it's like he is showboating with such elaborate slide and still win the ball, his passing on the other hand is fairly average it would seem he can complete passes when someone is square with him any time he trys a forward thinking pass it probably fails around 70% of the time and thats 55% to high.

if it were at all to happen and we some how missed out on N'geumo I wouldn't be to dishearted but i say that ONLY IF celtic a player of say a huddlestone mold in their sights, a player like that i think would a perfect partner for Crosas some one who's big strong and can even pick out a pass aswell as Crosas himself and even put in hard but great tackles, now that sounds like an expensive player guess but he is out there some were, we searched hard enough to find Crosas for his passing and searched hard enough to find N'geumo so to find a player who say has similar qualities as Huddlestone sholdn't be hard enough if we search hard enough again.

also as well doesn't have much to do with the thread but Crosas doesn't actually play spain he plays for a unregonzied nation Catalonia who are not affiliated with fifa or UEFA all they do is play friendlies often
