Crosas or Brown?

Just wondering who the majority of people would choose to partner NGuemo 'cos ive heard alot of ifferent views. I'd personally choose Brown with NGuemo. Ive added in Crosas and Brown, just to cover everything

 

I'd choose Crosas to partner N'Guemo in central midfield and play Brown on the right side of midfield. I think there's room for all 3.

 

I would go with Brown and N'Guemo.

 

dunno, crosas seems to have a fairly decent record for us, i think someone posted his stats a while back of wins/losses when he was playing and it was very high amount of wins when crosas starts.

brown is a funny player, he threatens to be great but always ends up dissapointing like mcgeady.

 

i went for brown with crosas as i dont think nguemo has been the same since comming back from the african cup of nations but i dont see why all 3 cant play

 

Crosas & N'Guemo they were great before christmas, Although maybe play Brown with Crosas as theres a chance N'Guemo wont be here next year

 

That would be good to see cos brown's quite effective on the right but with kamara taking the left wing I dont think mowbray will play him over mcgeady

 

Crosas and N'Guemo. The 1-1 OF game at Celtic Park, the two of them were getting writting on due to their height and in the game they ran the midfield. Crosas is alot more composed and can pick out a great pass.

I've just about had enough of McGeady now though. I haven't seen ANY development in his play for 2, maybe even 3, seasons now. It's time to cash in our chips and re-invest the money imo.

Crosas and N'Guemo, these are the two players the team should be built around in my opinion. Both young and I see no reason they can't both go on to be great players in the coming seasons for us. Obviously there are aspects of both players games that can still be improved but Brown has looked to be a complete waste of money for the majority of his Celtic career. If we can recover anything near the £4.4M we spent on him in the summer then we should.

Giving Brown the captaincy was a mistake in my opinion in the same was giving McManus it was for Strachan, it means basically that when he's fit he has to start. Giving it to a guaranteed started like Boruc or Hinkel would have avoided this. Even Keane would have been a better option as he sets a better example than Brown, and since he'll be away in the summer it would have given Mowbray an extra few months to find a suitable replacement.

 

im so dissapointed in brown but it could be hes not fully recovered from injury.i think crosas and nguemo are better at keeping the ball but dont offer a threat going forward.me personally id be looking for a phil odonnell type and move on brown and crosas or move on crosas and tell brown if he wants to make the 1st team he'll need to up his game.we rely too much on the wide guys which makes us easy to play against.we need penetration from the middle and we dont have it so to get it i think brown and crosas need to go.

 

I chose Brown & Nguemo, not because I rate them both but because I don't rate Crosas! I just don't see what he brings to the team and i don't think he is physical enough for the SPL! I don't like the Nguemo and Crosas partnership because I believe we need an attacking midfielder, a petrov type, and none of those two are, Brown is probably the best attacker out of a bad bunch!

 

I take your point on board about neither N'Guemo or Crosas being attacking midfielders. To be honest, before I'd seen the two of them playing together I didn't think it would work for the very same reason. However they really do seem to work well as a pair. The best football we've played this season was with them two working in tandem in the middle of the park.

What Crosas brings to the team is that he can spray the ball about and has a range of passing beyond any other player in our squad. Given that Mowbray likes to play a passing style of football that should make Crosas an ideal candidate to be in the team I would have thought.
