We should stay where we are, football is already a farce as it is. Moving leagues would cheapen our club, i feel. Look at American sports no loyalty just economics. Its a disgrace.

Not all fans but some celts are desperate to move to EPL to show them premier league fans, who belittle our club. We have nothing to prove to anybody, ever. We should not entertain these morons, use no who they are. "Celtic are a mickey mouse club", "wigan are a bigger club than celtic" etc.

Speaking of the EPL, that bubble is bound to burst. Itll be on a scale similar to the depression in the 30s. It will completly destroy itself. Its simple mathematics, most EPL clubs spend more than they earn. How long can that continue. You can see the start of it now. Porstmouth, Lpool, MU etc. The warning signs are there.

If this happens then clubs like celtic, porto, ajax can use our excellent youth system to again challange for top european honours. Now this is likley over a decade away, if it happens. So like a phoenix we will rise from the ashes while the EPL burns.

Can't believe that some of you seem to think that all the decisions Rangers have got in their favour this season is just down to incompetence.

    For me the 2 standouts among 20 or more examples are;
    1. Boric's "handball" , that just never happens
    2. Bougherra fouling repeatedly after being booked in the last Old Firm game.
There is no reasonable way to explain these, Bougherra wasn't even talked to by the ref.

I know that English refs make mistakes, but thats acceptable as there would be no reason to suspect any bias.

I wouldn't miss games against Rangers, don't enjoy them anyway, but I would certainly enjoy going to Old Trafford or Anfield & winning, if that happy day ever dawned.

But if it doesn't happen I can see the possibility of technology eventually being introduced for the more important decisions, because there is just so much money involved now.

Er remember the champions league and arsenal?

We'll get bad and good decisions whereever we play, but we won't win nearly as much.

there is a good ''must read book'' called celtic paranoia all in the mind which delves into the past and highlights arguments for and against bias regarding celtic.

This is something that will never go away, we need to stand up for our rights and make the world aware of what has gone on for years

everyone knows it goes on we have grown used to it now.
when we are winning it dont matter so its not mentioned.
ex referees have admited it and farry was found out by fergus
yet folk still dont believe it.
when billy mcneil says it has went on for 50 years he is not a
young hot headed fan but a well respected statesman people should listen.
all we can do at the moment is get a team on the park to win by enough
that decisions dont affect the result.
    difficult just now.

Plenty more examples. Open your eyes please, apologists.

    * refereeing affects all. Biased * doesn't.

Must be a hun, dared to critisise the players and the management. Lot of huns posting on this forum!
As for the referees, 50 years of bias. How the * did we ever win anything?

Stop looking for excuses and face up to the fact that the players and the management have not been good enough.

Who are you really? Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles?

I voted YES. But i don't think england is on the agenda the now. But what i always said is that a more qualified ref from either england of Europe to ref all Old Firm matches in the season?

Forget officials for a minute. Our performances this season proved to me if we went to england we would be in a relegation fight at best.

Yea the english league would be nice plus the revenue money would be a treat to extra transfer funds but we can only go against what is placed in front of us. How can we master england at the moment when we cannot perform in the SPL of which is supposed to be like the english 2nd division. Yea I agree the refs have been against us but that is the same anywhere in the world. Lets just battle on with what we are currently up against and master that one first. Then England will come calling & Martin O'Neill may return to take us to the promise land. Come on the Hoops

Going from this season alone what makes you think England would ever want anything to do with us?

Dodgy leaks to the press, noone willing to take the fall for it...

Seemingly endless moaning, whining and complaining coming from all angles involved with the club...

Struggling to beat relegation fodder throughout the season...

Pumped out the cup early in the season...

People need to stop looking for ways out of the endless struggle we are in because it's where we are staying. We are a Scottish club playing in the Scottish Premier League. Sure England has Cardiff and Swansea, but that's pretty much the way it's always been, plus Wales is alot easier to get to for English clubs than having to go on a trek up to Glasgow every second week, not to mention us having to go all over England every other week too.

This topic has been done to the death and the quicker folks accept we're going nowhere the better it'll be for all of us.

Face it, this year we have been an embarresment to ourselves. Footballing terms and supporting terms.

We love to boast how we are the best fans in the world yet we leave 5-10 mins before the end of every single game and you can say "Traffic" or "* football" or whatever you want to say the reason is - "true" fans wouldn't leave early no matter what. Games are on most of the time at weekend afternoon times, what rush could these people possibly be in to want to leave with 5 minutes to go?

I've gone waaaaaaaaay south of the original topic but i think i'm trying to make my overall point of why we aren't and shouldn't be welcome in England.

Not to mention the fact that we'd get pumped left, right and centre considering Aberdeen can take 4 goals off us and still get a point. (And i know there'll be people saying we could handle it down there because i've seen this thread so many times before) No we couldn't, plain and simple, England - would - destroy - us.

    ---

Im not taking a swipe at anyone btw, i am guilty of my own fair share of all of the above. Except leaving early, i don't get to go to the games which is why it * me off so badly, folks who go to games don't even stay for the full event!
