I have to say despite all the wrongs BTM has made this year i think he got it right when he signed nguemo ,the wee man was terrific today and has been all season and i will be absolutely gutted if we dont make his deal permanant because i genuinely beleive he is the best defensive mid weve had in years and that includes lennon.

    BTM SIGN HIM UP!!!!!!!!

have said it also, but your idea of a footballer, and mine are the same but will not make them on the board get him. would be a right fright for us if rangers came into money and done the deal,

If he plays well, hes good.

I think we should look for alternatives because we can do better.

I would prefer Robson through the middle.

What price do we get him for, is it 2mil?

    If so then maybe.

For the reported fee in the 'buy' cause, he is a steal. Can only speculate as to why moves have not been made to make the move permanant, however there is also the possibility that he may not want to extend beyond the current term, for whatever reason. Just gotta keep fingers crossed.

The fact he had a partner that knows how to play football beside him is no coincidence. Crosas and N'Guemo were developing as a partnership and even dominated the huns in the second last game against them yet Mowbray removes Crosas and replaces him with Brown for no other reason than Brown was back to full fitness.

Brown isn't fit to lace Crosas' boots and the entire team functions better when there's an intelligent footballer in the middle rather than a headless chicken picking fights.

Really like him but I have seen this movie before, You just know its written in the stars that he will not sign up for us and will end up with Wigan or some similar bottom EPL side who will double the wages we offer. Wigan doubled Caldwells wages. That is what we are up against.

I wanted us to sign him up the very first game I saw him.

That may seem rash, but he could run, scrap and tackle. Although he is a little shaky positionally, he gets about the pitch very well and breaks up attacks.

He has a nice touch as well. His passing and shooting isn't great, but he is tidy in possession for the most part and plays it simple most of the time.

Should have him tied down already.

I think we need to sign a physically imposing mf with a bit of height. Somebody in the viera mould. I know finding such a player is hard but our midfield lacks bite and does nguemo offer enough?

Brown gets plenty of criticism on here but id keep him around.

Crosas and/or Ki could do the creative job.

I know ki is tall enough but he is a wimp. If we put a midfield out nowadays it can get bullied around.

Im not criticizing nguemo based on ability or performances (although his inconsistency is noted) im criticizing him because i dont think he is physical enough for the role. We need a complete beast in there to let the wingers and att mid flourish. Toure at Barca does this job very well.

I want a defensive minded cm to dominate and control a game and so far im not convinced this lad can do that. He seems to have plenty of fans on this forum and im interested to know if they think he can do this role?

As others have said, chances are a premiership team will pick him off us if we don't get it done now.

If we * about until the end of the season he'll go and get a better deal somewhere else.

He is a good player and the only player i think is fit to wear the jersey at the moment. Definetly has a bit of quality about him.
However the critisism of Brown is unfair in my opinion. Its almost as if people are just jumping on a bandwagon with disliking this guy. He's really not a bad player, who actually puts a shift in unlike most at parkhead the now.

i think TMs signings have been ok.....and would like to keep the loanees if possible

fox- just didnt happin for him

hooiveld-looked good from what we have seen

braafheid - 1 bad game out of 6 but looks capable enough

    rogne-same as hooiveld

thompson-looks good and for an 18 year old has done very very well a few slip ups but is expected as hes stil young and has to learn from them

nguemo-doing well, good passer and puts himself about for a wee guy

ki and zz- kis looked ok bit injury hit at start and zz is ok as back up i suppose

keane-always new he would do a job banging in the goals (dont no who signed him but il credit mogga with this 1 as he would have had a say somewhere down the line)

MAF-came onto a game now after the new january arrivals and shaking off injurys

rassmusen-looks like a good goal scorer but keane stole his job

kamara-looks more than caipable to handle celtic expectations hope he stays

I would keep him, but the choice is ultimately down to Landry. If we agree a fee, and he knows a premiership club are in for him(Wenger had a reported bid of 9 million turned down for him last season), then i dont think he will stay.
