20? Keane should at least be on 35 goals a year in this league

Jock Stein, Kenny Dalglish, Danny McGrain, Paul Lambert and countless others were or are Rangers fans, you braindoner.

Care to expand on said what said bullshit consits of?

No one from Celtic is blaming any referee for our league position. That's a fabrication, one you seem oddly eager to beleive in rather than actually examining in the facts.

It's an established fact that we've been trying to get Keane for some years now. That's one * of a crystal ball the board has, I must say.

Firstly, we signed the Swedish POTY and one of Norway's best up-and-coming defenders (who already looks to be one of the best players at the club IMO). Secondly, I'd wager you'd never heard the name Ramas until the story broke and have no idea how much "quality" he might actually have.

The majority of signings completed around Europe are done so on the last day of the transfer window. It's more common than not.

I'd rather have Tony Mowbray. One bad season does not make Tony Mowbray a loser, a * or a bad manager. Despite what some people on here might say.

As for Walter, I've grown to respect the man a lot more than I used to. I used to think he was a poor manager but in all fairness to him he's doing a good job at Rangers. I still don't think he's a great manager or anything particularly special but he's certainly no mug.

    No he isn't.

Barnes, Brady or Macari are the candidates for that tag.

I would take Smith over Mowbray, easy. Never had a problem with Smith and he has always been more professional than a number of our managers over the years. He can win leagues, with a squad worse than ours as well.

He would never come to us though because he is a legend for the huns. It would be like O'Neil going to Rangers or something, it would trigger the end of the world or something.

Barnes had a better record than Mowbray after same games played, and we were are a far more entertaining side under Barnes aswell, for all TM's talk of how he's a keen admirer of our history and the beautiful game when exactly are we going to start playing it?

Also, people forget that Barnes LOST Henke to injury during season, and i am sure we were top when he lost him!..barnes is treated unfairly..

This is spot on :50: yes there is no denying this has been a really bad season, but these things take time. Whole new group of players don't always bring instant success.

As long as the man in charge is leading us to trophies and decent European runs then it does not matter where he is from or where he has been before.

Spot on, it's rather unfair to compare a manager with a 32 year career with one who's had a six year career.

As for the general point, of course I'd take a good manager regardless of their background. But I think the majority of managers everywhere would have struggled at Celtic this season.

    Why is that mate?

O'Neill and even Strachan within a few weeks had us playing to a good standard. Smith the same when he took over an awful huns team, good managers don't seem to need time at the Old Firm. Why is TM such a special case?

really?? were you there under the WGS era, a lot fans just didn't like him because he 'wasn't Celtic minded' and he brought lots of success

as for Walter Smith, I have respect for but I wouldn't like him as Celtic boss because the football is awful

Barnes had infinitely more talented players to work with than Mowbray does. Even with those players he still made a * of things. The guy wanted us to play a 4-2-2-2 formation ffs!!

Barnes has also failed dismally at every other managerial job he's been given. Saying Barnes is a better manager than Tony Mowbray is just stupid.

there is too much of a risk with mowbray.he has asked for 4 transfer windows! say we give him it and he doesnt deliver? out mowbray goes, and some other poor * has to come in to pick up the pieces with the huns on their way to 4 in a row! board should have gone with a sound manager with european experience. Bilic wanted a go and i would have been happy with him as he would have attracted some big names.all we will get from mowbray is koreans(brought in by the board to sell shirts) and middle of the road players from the championship.
