celtic clarify pitch claims

Further to erroneous reports in today's press, Celtic Football Club can confirm that it did not make any official complaint about the Falkirk pitch and did not ask for any pitch investigation or inspection.

This is supported by a Scottish Premier League statement which reads: “We keep an eye on all our pitches and monitor them over the course of the season through our delegate reports.

“The weather has had an impact on pitches up and down the country, but as things stand all our games are good to go for this weekend.”





both the sun and the record had this as a story today that celtic had complained about the falkirk pitch ? is our "paranoia" justified ?

 

both papers should be asked to clarify their source for the story, that would clear it up instantly

 

What is wrong with the media, its * shameless almost as bad as the american media,

I hope Celtic take legal action against them , * is going on ?

 

surely the sfa are instigating this after all we are at war with them at the moment

 

Not sure if legal action could be taken, but questions should be asked. How many times have we read a story about a player that turns out to be false. If Celtic can get an answer as to where the Sun / DR got the story from then that should clear up the source.

This is but the latest in a series. I don't think it has escaped anyone's notice that the number of statements Celtic have issued this season which are worded far stronger than what has been the traditional norm.

It may only be words, but they reverberate with intent. Long may it continue.
