Ill be coming into a few quid this year or start of next and Ive been looking online to buy a few investment properties for between 25 and 40G.I hope to get as many as possible with a budget of 150 and 200 grand (euros)
I was originaly going to open up a knick nack shop with this but have decided to put it into property.

Ive seen a few 2/3 bed flats for 25-40g in rutherglen, cumbernauld, easterhouse, Eynort Street and Gamkirk, theres a yearly rental return between £3500 and £5500 on each property

Can you give me any info on these areas ,ive been trying to read up on the areas online but would like to hear from members on here .
Ive heard that theres some real rough areas in glasgow ,should i stay away from these places

Would glasgow be a good place to buy an investment property,

i live like 2 minutes from rutherglen, and some areas are really nice, cumbernauld is also really nice, but i would stay as far away as possible from easterhouse, its pretty rough, hope that helps :)

Cant speak for the other areas but I lived in Easterhouse for a while and think it has improved a lot in recent years, not much rougher than any other part of the city tbh. The neighbours where always sound too, like anywhere else really just avoid walking about at night.

I think anywhere in the east end of the city would be a good investment with the huge amount of development going on for the Commonwealth Games. Thats where my cash would be goin if I had any lol

I would go for Cumbernauld mate, although it's not technically Glasgow, its a * lot better than the other ares you listed. And transport is easy through the trains. You can get to central in bout 20 minutes in cumbernauld train.

Mate what you should do is open up 1 of them car wash places, there are 2 in my town and 1 is well decent, its a * goldmine!!!! if i had the cash i would do it my self, the one thats a goldmine probly has 200 cars going through it a day if not more!!!! if you can get a nice location you could be on to a winner:50:

    200x5 is a grand a day:50:

That works out at a cool £364 grand a year :50:

Am not quite sure what the figures would be but all you would need would be premises, could maybe lease a place, and equipment, put it this way imo it would be much cheaper than buying a house and you would make more money, i know the figures sound crazy but the guys who do at my bit have 6 or so guys working for them and it takes about 5 minutes for a wash etc, they know what there doing and the thing is always full to the rafters,

The figures i mentioned were my est for that place considering how busy it always is, say you were getting 100 cars in a day and open for 7 days a week thats 500 quid a day. thats a £3500 a week:50:
