Next home game i say we all boo when the big screen shows who the ref is.

It really is getting embarrassing , football fans from england and spain look up and see fairly poor standards of players , stadiums(cause they dont show games in the countries decent stadiums), poor crowed turnout and now on top of this a corrupt football association.

If they are not corrupt then they are truly retarded or never watched a game of football in their lives

Is that so ardotne celt? Yes, You are right. We will fine Celtic for.....

    'false accusal'

Ive did this for years and nothing ever good has come about it. Of course we only boo because we are paranoid? * sake, you not know that by now?

Now that he's lost the appeal, I think Brown should ask for his suspension to be increased to 25 games, 400 hours community service, a stint in the salt mines, tattoo 'I'm sorry' on his forehead and do a pole dance at the SFA Lodge Christmas Party.

(Actually, maybe get Arthur to do the dance bit. After all, he IS a Pole.)

Shocking decision but like many of you have said, not a suprising one. Something really has to be done, it's as clear as day. That incident was a yellow card for both players or a calm down warning from the referee. Fuming. :31:

it had to be that way. otherwise the sfa would be admitting a mistake and that cant happen after celtic put in a complaint.

celtic should play hard and make the sfa * themselves
by handing in their notice to the premier league
at worst we'd end up like the harlem globetrotters
but atleast we would'nt have to put up with this *

Bougherra nearly took langfield's head off and got away with it
hinkel nearly lost a leg against laffarty, think he got a pat on the *
    and the list goes on
its rules for us and they * seem to play by their own rules or no rules

could celtic not report the sfa to uefa or something, that might
sound a bit stupid but it's really * annoying all this

that is true, there was no way the SFA would admit that their referee has * up an OF for the third consecutive game; this whole thing stinks :47:

would love to see a couple fairly prominent banners at future celtic games deriding the SFA (whatever good it would do is debatable but just let them know in no uncertain terms we're on to them), its beyond sheer incompetence now something that until the New Years game i was willing to accept though after that and sunday its as clear as day yet we'll be labelled paranoid once again by the joke of a media we have

i wonder how the club will react after making such a pointed statement on sunday?

We could be flippant about this latest development, and just chalk it up, another questionable decision in a long line of them. Can simply shrug it off: 'Yep. Disgraceful. Typical, what else is new?'. Or we can see it for what it is. Read between the lines and see it for what it really is.

'Cry ''Havoc'', and let slip the dogs of war'.
    .............................................................Julius Caesar A3, S1.

A week ago a 'source' within Celtic leaked it to the BBC that Celtic were unhappy about the way a number of key decisions had gone against the club. Next thing you know George Peat is releasing statements attacking this as being amongst other things, a cowardly act.

This is the same George Peat that survived the Airdrie collapse, that it is alleged was party to the Cadete affair that took down Jim Farry after a long & arduous case to prove that registration had been intentionally delayed, was part of the 'internal investigation' that cleared Farry of wrong doing, which was eventually shown to be incorrect. Ancient history, you say? *, even as recently as 2 years ago George Peat was the man who reportedly offered to have the Cup final delayed to benefit R****** who had built up a backlog of matches through no one's making but their own, and did so without having discussed this with any other member of the SFA board or consulting Queen of the South (the other Cup finalist). Never mind that it didn't eventuate. This was the guy who wanted it to happen.

Sunday. Brown is farcially 'sent off' for an incident the referee was unsighted for, and which at worst was a 50/50 handbags entanglement, where the other party in this, Kyle Laffable, hits the deck lke a shot and despite him saying he wasnt playing for anything, pictures show him turning towards the referee with his arms out. Laffable is not even cautioned for his part in the incident.

This is the same Kyle Laffable that could have ended Andy Hinkel's season (a season in which, IMO he has been Celtic's most consistant performer and a candidate for POTY) in the last Glasgow derby and the same Kyle Laffable that has once before been floored by a non-existant headbutt with Aberdeen's (& former Celt) Charlie Mulgrew. There is prior form here.

So Brown is given his marching orders. Celtic respond after the match that they intend to appeal the red card decision. THAT SAME DAY, Hunmeister Smith puts in his 2 pence worth, that Celtic's claims & criticisms are unfounded. Surprise, surprise.

Now this week, to place further emphasis that the SFA is wholly in support of the referee's decision, and despite evidence to the contrary, decide to uphold the original decision & reject the Celtic appeal. What astonishing haste the SFA has, when it so desires.

And where have the traditional 'meeja' been in all this; have they been in relentless pursuit, the very ethos of investigative journalism, or quietly whistling along to their favourite piece of pipe music?

Its about time that Celtic began to agitate & at last is beginning to flex some muscle. Whilst the manager is 'taking it on the chin', could it be that our club is looking to deflect attention? Or could it be that we are no longer content to remain in quiet dignity? With a board that contains a number of highly successful business types and former government ministers, we now have a few in our number who know a thing or 2 about backroom dealings. Could it be that Celtic is starting to shine the apotlight on the SFA?

With the clout that we now have, Celtic can keep the spotlight on that august body, the very definition of integrity, the SFA, and if held steadfast it will begin to reveal some of the underhand dealinga and masonic handshakes that have for so long gone without question or comment. A Motherwell spotlight will add to that growing light, and so might a Hibs spotlight, an Dons spotlight, and so on and so forth. It only takes a slight crack in a dam for it to be busted by all the ensuing pressure that is built up.

Batthe has been joined. Don't look for victory tomorrow, next week or next month. There will be advances & setbacks along the way, but make no mistake. Battle has been joined.

And we all have a part to play. Every Tim is a foot soldier in the war for truth. From those who live a stone's throw from Paradise, to those in every corner of the globe. Even those who have seen it all or feel little apathy for the cause have a role. In every pub, on every school yard, in every work place, at every match, on every forum page.

Don't take the eye off what is at stake. Something we have been craving, something even the likes of Billy McNeill has never seen, in as much as he admitted that so many favourable decisions have gone the way of 'that other team' for over 50 years of his involvement with Celtic, as a player, manager and spectator.

A completely level playing surface. Both on and off the park.

Someone must explain the refs actions on Sunday and also explain why after they have reviewed it, it still stands.

SING GLOOOORY HALLELUJAH BROTHER! I'll get my broadsword and be right back to enter the fray.

Agree with absolutely EVERYTHING you say here.

    * great post mate, But I do hate to put a negative spin on it.

Every Celtic fan is unfortunately not a foot soldier for the cause, some of my own tim mates still claim I am paranoid likewise members of this forum. I'm not sure if that is the minority or the majority however I seriously think it may lean towards the latter.

WHat can we do about this?

They really are a shower of orange * dermot gallacher the english referee who has been in charge of world cup games said browns red card shouldnt have happened!. But we must remember dallas is in charge of the referees , its absolutely shocking and then they wonder why we think the sfa are masonic ? FARRY proved how corrupt they are. It has got to the stage its no longer a joke. :31:

We benefitted the last time Scott Brown got banned towards the end of the season and couldn't get back into the team.. Let the bidding commence so we can get him out the door and replaced as soon as possible.. For whatever reason this £8m outlay on Brown over 3 years has been an absolute waste.. One title , one cup and a POTY award in an easily forgettable SPL season will be his major achievement..
