Hinkel - for mine, has been a consistant performer ever since his arrival, however with Mowbray's emphasis on the FB's getting forward he has really shown that extra element, which maybe we didn't really get to see as often under WGS. A real contender for Celtic POTY.

N'Guermo - Why Celtic haven't secured his services on a long term basis is a bit of a mystery to me. He may not be in the same class as Neil Lennon, but he is the closest thing we have. An absolute bargain if we can get him to sign permanantly.

Keane - He might only be here for the short term, so have to make the most of him whilst he is here. There is a heavy burden of expectation on him & will be looking to prove he really is a class above all else on display in the SPL.

hinkel. easily our most consistant player and for all mcgeadys skill with beating players i'm pretty sure hinkel has more assists.
n'guemo and crosas. by far and away the best central midfield pairing we have seen this season. yet one has not been offered a permanent contract and the other struggles to even make the bench, total madness.

not far behind them i'd have fortune and rasmussen. keanes away in the summer and the leagues gone so look to the future. boruc' form is picking back up so he's in despite me saying in recent weeks i wanted zaluska in there. also been really impressed with the little i've seen of rogne so he edges out thompson to partner hooiveld.

    Agree with the above.

I dont see why people are ranting about Nguemo though. Hes wile hot and cold. I dont think he is the kind of player we need. There are better alternatives. Granted when hes on form he looks good but i don't see him being the definition of consistency any time soon and for this he hasn't earned a contract with us.

Honestly the title is gone, and so is Keane in the summer:54:

Tony bought an exspensive lottery ticket and lost:31:

We need to build the squad around players who are staying.

I believe its time to cut our loses and start rebuilding for next season.

That means no Keano in the starting eleven.....he's our best player and I really like his attitude and workrate.

We could field him, but honestly to what avail?

We need to start Fortune and Rasmussen up front and let their partnership develop.

    So:
    Boruc
    Hinkel
    Fortune
    Rasmussen

NGuemo and Crosas should always be the central midfield pairing

Rasmussen and Fortune, in my opinion, will be excellent together and should be up front, possibly with keane playing just off them.

at the back at the moment Thompson must play and so should hooiveld when he returns eventually

Boruc - Guys world class at his best.

Hinkel - Consistent and effective modern day fullback.

Crosas - I like him a lot. Can see a pass short and long.Starting to get to grips with the physical league , then gets dropped:rolleyes: with a good run in the team he will only grow into an even better player.Potential future star for celtic.

    Keane - Needs no explination.
