Dont think he is the answer for us,should resign and not take us for every bit of compensation he can get.Are we ever going to get a big name manager now though?

I think that he should stay fo another year.

You cant seriously expect the team to keep cutting costs and keep achiving. If he leaves now then the new guy that comes in will want to get rid of some of the players TM has bought and then bring in his own. This may result in the same disjointed performances we have seen.

I think he deserves another crack at it. It took Ferguson years at Man Utd! He must be teh most unlucky manager that we have had.

Ferguson had previously worked wonders at St.Mirren & Aberdeen and is one of the very few special managers out there, Mowbray's achievements are nothing more than average.

Isn't he on a rolling contract? Doesn't that mean it's a one year contract and will only be extended if we want it to be? So compensation wouldn't be an issue.

I have supported TM up to yesterday, I cannot continue to give him my backing after the debacle that was served up at the midden.
This was a clueless and more to the point a gutless performace, hence my reason for wanting TM to call it a day and admit he isn't up to the task. I can excuse bad luck, bad refeering, bad performance from a player(s) but I cannot accept a lack of motivation, lack of passion or a lay-back disposition. These were all evident yesterday in abundance, and that most certainly is TM's responsibility. These players came out yesterday with a half-hearted approach to the task, I thought come half time he would have fixed that but in fact there was no change at collective or individual level. We made the huns look like champions and indeed they were by far the team that wanted it more.
I'm sorry TM I cannot continue to support something that lacks the basic spirit and drive that is so essential, if all else is lacking we must at least have a fighting mentality.

Fair enuff gettin beat to rangers is something that can happen to any celtic manager, but to continually drop points against the rest of the spl for me isn't good enough especially with the players at our disposal, i know people will say injuries etc but we should have a good enough sqaud to make sure we are challenging more than we actually are, i dont know if sacking mowbray is right or wrong but what happens if we win nothing this year and finish even further away from rangers? do we still give him next season in a hope he can perform a major transformation over the summer. i would like us to win the scottish cup, close the gap right down to as close as we can get it and then we have some morale going into next season but the last old firm game at parkhead is one i really hope we win just to take the shine off of rangers miracle season. Hail Hail We will rise again !!

A new manager would get virtually a clean slate most of our top men at the moment are on loan.

Stop comparing man u with celtic ffs.

He's had bags of money thrown at him, a * Rangers team to compete with and Robbie Keane at his disposal and we cannot win games.
Any other manager would give their right arm for this. He is pish, sack him now and let McStay and Lennon take the team til the summer and find a replacement.

Can anyone name one player that's improved from last season? Usually any half-decent manager comes in and gets more out of certain players, instead EVERY player has got worse.

I don't think McGeady's been much better at all.

Crosas hasn't played enough, and the games he has played again I don't see much improvement over last season, he's too much of a 'simple' player for me.

Samaras, maybe, but he isn't even in the starting 11 anymore so that's useless.

3 of those players are in their early twenties so they should be naturally improving anyway.

    Just Can't Get Enough.
    Yes.

There have been many occasions this season where things have happened which have cost us games which have been out of Mogga's hands.

    For Example:

OF 1: 2 Stone wall penatlties deneid , if we score them we win the game +3 points.
OF 2: Ligit goal not given and endless easy chances missed after total domination , if goal is correctly given we win the game +3 points.
OF 3: We never played well yes but don't tell me going down a man did not have an effect!! .. Bougherra was not sent of tell me why? If Brown rightly stay's and Bougherra rightly goes i would be 100% sure the game would have been at the very least a draw! +1 point. (Perhaps 3?)
Falkirk: We don't get given a blatant penalty in the dying moments of the game , yes me might miss it but it's likley we score which means +3 points!

I could go on but from those examples alone if referee's had got things right we would have likley had an extra 10 points.

Also take into consideration the endless chances our strikers have missed and the fact Mogga has argubaly not been able to play his strongest defence all season which has cost us massively!!

What can Mogga do about the referee's? What can he do about injury's in our team meaning he can't start his prefered 11? What can he do about our strikers missing easy goals?

I can tell you what he can do NOTHING!

He should stay .. He has been EXTREMLEY unfortunate in his time in charge.

yesterday was our chance and the begining of the second half it showed
No bottle No heart..... TM head south, you have failed

    You'll Never Walk Alone
If nobody can see that this has been the most dodgey season in recent history through the obvious strange and fuked up decisions that were never going to our way there must be something wrong! I'd say most bad results are not down to the manager or team but decisions going against us ( I swore i'd never write that on here but that twice today! lol), and if you were a player I bet that would get to you big time.
I've seen some really great football played under Mowbray and I believe he'll go on to do great things with this club..
He'll never be sacked this season or at least till christmas due to the amount of players he's signed also, a new manager might want a total clear out.. and that means losing players for less than they are worth AGAIN!...
I bet TM forseen something like this and has a contract clause stating he cant be sacked untill next season anyway.
I say stick with our man!

People need to stop blaming officials for where we are in the league, if the team actually had the heart, determination and bottle to go out and win the league we would be doing it. i do agree we get the bad end of things when it comes to decisions but im fed up hearin aw referee this n that the players should just keep their mouths shut and start playing for the fans because they dont know what it is to be a fan and go to work the day after getting beat to rangers and get pelters and all you can do is laugh it off and say our time will come, i believe our time will come but the players need to realise the affect their job has to do with a lot of peoples lifes, for me celtic is part of my life, wouldnt be the same without them so right now like all of us i'm hurting but its brave face time, bit the lip and just keep the faith because our day will come and when it does it will last for many years Hail Hail.

His teams got so much potential but he has to figure out how to utilize it. I'm still firmly behind him and he's got till Xmas really imo to show he's got a grasp of the team.

Not I'm not happy but Strachan had a disgraceful Old Firm record - he only won 8 out of 18 and 2 out of 8 at Ibrox. Though, Mowbrays is starting to get even worse.
