Doubt he'll be staying. Lennon said the other day he still wasnt convinced by him. Also said he was the best ball winner at the club... hmmmm think it's fair to say that will be one of the first positions he'll look at.

I must be watching another team because he has been * awful for months now, at the start of the season he looked decent, since then he has been terrible, offered nothing going forward, cant take any set pieces, shooting is pathetic, looses the ball too much the list goes on, how people can say he is better than Brown is beyond me. Not even near good enough to play for a club like Celtic. If we sign him it will show me a complete lack of ambition from us and making do with 3rd rate players. Every important game for us he has been like the missing man, tortured by Rangers every game and given the run around by the Ross County midfield. I love Lenny and will be completely shocked if he was signed on a permanent basis

Landry N’Guemo’s future is set to the thrashed out this weekend as the AS Nancy loan-signing’s lawyers jet in for talks with Celtic.
Representives of the Cameroon midfielder are due to land in Glasgow tomorrow.
A deal is already in place with the French club to convert the season-long loan deal to a full transfer, with the fee understood to be just over £1million on top of the £500,000 they have already paid to have the 24-year-old at Parkhead since August.
AS Nancy have confirmed Celtic have until the end of May to decide if they want to proceed.
However, with N’Guemo due to leave early next month to prepare with Cameroon for the World Cup Finals – he will play his last game on Tuesday against Rangers as he is suspended for the closing game against Hearts after his booking at Tannadice last weekend put him through the disciplinary threshold triggering a one-game ban – negotiations will begin immediately.
If Celtic do not decide to buy N’Guemo, or if personal terms can’t be agreed, there are already a number of clubs waiting in the wings ready to move in for him.
Wigan – who have just secured their place in the Premiership for another season – are among those on his trail.
Niall McGinn is another Celtic player interesting clubs south of the border.
And Wolves boss Mick McCarthy took the opportunity to get an update on the Northern Ireland internationalist’s form during last night’s friendly against AZ Alkmaar.
Celtic paid only £250,000 for the 22-year-old when they signed him from Derry City 15 months, and he is now valued at around £1.5m, a price which is well within the reach of Wolves and another interested club, Wigan.
But the player has expressed his desire to remain at Celtic where he made the breakthrough to the first team this season.
And, with Aiden McGeady set to be the subject of another massive bid from Birmingham when the transfer window re-opens, the Parkhead club may be reluctant to allow another wide midfield player to leave at this point.
Meantime, forward Paul McGowan has revealed he has signed a new two-year contract.
He said: “I was in a no-win situation. I am not 23 yet. If I knock the offer back, somebody has got to come in and pay X amount of compensation and there’s no money going about in the game.
“But I was delighted to sign and I am confident in myself whatever manager comes in.”

hes the type of player lennys after i think, he gets stuck in and fights for every ball what more could you want what he needs work on is passing and getting long balls to players and his shooting but thats about it pre seaason that could be worked on

and if he is jetting in to sign maybe lenny is in contention for the job why else would the board buy a player if they are not sure the next manager will want him?

He has had his good and bad games , but you cant judge a player on a season he needs more time to learn and come to terms with the new league and being in Scotland etc , i think he is well worth a punt at the fee above , add to the fact teams in the preme etc want him he could be seen as a player we could later sell on .

the whole point in a years loan was for him to prove he's good enough, he's clearly been unsuccesful, rather we held onto the 2million

I dont know why people think he has been bad. He creates space and moves into it. I think he would be a good signing for us permanantly

I wouldnt care if we didnt sign him, we do need a proper defensive midfielder who knows how to play the role, nguemo chases around too much leaving the back 4 exposed many times, hes improving and his tackling is getting better but i reckon we can get better and someone whos a better passer, id rather have a bigger defensive midfielder, add some power and height we sorely lack in that department

He is a duffer mate. A real duffer. N'Guemo contributes little or nothing for us in midfield.

Anyways it is all likely to be co -incidental for I have heard him and Braafheid are for the chop.

ive watched every game he has played apart from hampden game and cant for the life of me see were this bad passing thing is coming from,he is better than most we have and also breaks up attacks on us very well, i think taking him of at hampden although reportedly having a bad game ended up costing us the tie.

The problem is we cant have ngeumo and brown in midfield, we need one of them to improve alot and then someone very attacking skilful and create(Nakamura) who can score goals from midfield
