I'm an eternal optimist but all I can see is us winning the possession battle and not scoring more than them. I still see very little from our side which shows we can go to Ibrox and win, our defence is panicking against lower sides even when we are dominating games.

I don't think you'd find many Celtic fans that think we won't lose at least 1 goal, it could be the case we need to score 3 to win.

I voted 9-10 I really believe we can beat them and demoralise them. Providing the referee and his sidekicks don't cheat us out.

I've never been as confident going into an Old Firm game and think as long as we score first, we could really do them.

    6 for me

last one at there shed, we played well, our midfield did well and set up chances but our strikers couldnt score, now our midfield is the same but our strikers are better, so do the same and we should score

but our defence is still average

If we defend as we did at Aberdeen we've no chance, breaks my heart to say that but it's the honest truth. Words got around that we can't defend corners or free kicks and sadly most games I find myself waiting for the inevitable !, the opposition scores. There is also the fact that hate them or not All their players will be up for it "playing for the jersey " as they know what it means, do all our players ?. If we don't commit suicide and gift them a few goals then Yes we do have a chance, though I'd love that to happen like many others I'd be quite happy with even a draw.

there is no reason to fear rangers, we have the beating of them provided we keep going and don't let up with timed defense attacks, play thought the middle then switch play out to the corner of the 25 yd box you will have weir in a spin, and work on his side of the field all the time he is good to get you a penalty play Ra's in behind him Keane and fortuney will feed balls all day from there.

The huns would take a 0-0 or 1-1 right now and thats what they'll play for. Keane could be difference between a win and a draw - I can't see us getting beat. Absolutely no doubt celtic have the quality to win, just need to show it and :31:take our chances:31:.

I have this vision of all that overdue luck we've been needed finally arrives and the decisions by the men in black go in our way. I'm expecting a 1-4 win for us :) But my brain says "Shut up fool! 1-1"

We can't win Old firm games even if we are better technically. And not because of our shambolic defense, but because much more Rangers players hate Celtic, than Celtic players hate Rangers.
These types of games all come down to raw passion, because of what I said previous but the referee will also bring out a different rulebook for the old firm while letting them put in tackles worthy of a red card go unpunished, of course.

Not to Mention Smiths and Mcoists bitter passionate firing up pre match team talk, and then Mowbray's.......

    Let the people sing,
I voted 5-6. Think is the game that will kill off our season or start to kick it back into shape, and there is no inbetween for me which means no chance of a draw. The Rangers team will want to win this more than what our 'team' will probably. This is no doubt a must win game, and if TM doesn't come away with 3 points i feel his next trip to Ibrox could see him situated in the Broomloan front. Sunday overall will go well or very badly, my predictions are either 3-2 Celtic or 3-0 Rangers - Lets hope its the former. :50:

Due to the defensive frailty this season,I'd rather be playing this one at the midden for a start. Our nerves have DEFO taken a toll on the team at home(whenever an opponent has gotten a sniff at CP).So in some ways this is better. At least the weekend gave us cause for optimism, more signs of structure at the back at least.I don't see them leaving Boyd on the bench, makes sense for cardigan to do so,but would be too much of a slap in the face for a player they're hoping re-signs soon.
As far as the result goes,if we can score first(no reason to think we can't),then their game-plan would have to change.Might mean more chances for our better forward players! If they score first, our plans are still the same-WIN FFS!! League isn't decided by this game, but OUR psychological approach afterwards could be the biggest factor if we win. That momentum boost would be MASSIVE for us in terms of this whole season and our chances of the run we need.
I voted 5-6 because I don't see us losing,if the defence plays like the weekend (only couple of chances surrendered),I'd have gone more 7-8. Regardless of result we are a superior footballing side.

My prediction is 2-0 Celtic with Keane and Fortuné scoring the goals. TM has the chance to become a hero in the eyes of the Celtic fans if he wins at Ibrox. One of the reasons why I didn't like WGS was , despite 3IAR, he had a disgraceful Old Firm record which included 8 wins out 18 and only 2 at Ibrox. Hopefully, with our firepower, Tony can take us back to the good old days of the MON era where winning at Ibrox was a foregone conclusion. Anyone agree?

It's asking a lot to expect any manager to make us as strong at Ibrox as we were under Martin O'Neill. Those were special, special times.
