we were clearly robbed against juventus but i was proud. we gave 1 of the best club teams in the world a right doing on there own patch and probly should have won the game a remember when they got there penalty from amarouso,s dive and went 3-2 up but we threw the gauntlett at them and had them flapping infact a think they just managed to clear a sutton shot off the line

1 of my fav moments was larssons in boavista. i really didnt think it was going to be our night, i will remeber ricardos face forever when that ball went in to the net, think he was crying, amazing feeling after that goal

having served my trade apprenticeship during the 9 in a row era and not one of my tradesmen being a tim, celtic nearly going bust, appointing diddy managers ala macari, brady etc signing guys from the army, huns getting their usual quota of dogy pens, offsides etc,all of this during my teenage years i believe has had a profound emotional effect and so i say yes it does put me in a right bad mood when we lose, but when win, really stick it to the orcs, beat quality teams in europe, its the best buzz ever, like when henrik scored against boavista to put us in the final-feckin *!!!so you take the rough with the smooth, its hard just now but good times will be back, keep the faith:50:

The game that sticks in my mind is the Raith Rovers cup final, gutted wasnt the word after that.

On the other hand stopping 10 in a row was one of the greatest days in my life, there is no doubt this game has a big effect on you emotionally

The thought of going into work after we've lost to THEM gees me the boak. On the flip side, going into work with every newspaper under my arm after we won the league at Tannadice was an awesome feeling.

No doubt about it having that winning feeling makes us all feel good.

This all reminds me of a guy I saw at the match today  This big guy was up and out of his seat so often giving the team * for leather everytime they got something either right or wrong! On occasion he sat down and turned away with a "I can't look expression". The poor guy was in such a state that you could tell he lived and breathed Celtic.......in some ways he was more entertaining than the game and reminded me of huge rab c nesbit:56:

What made all this even funnier was the fact that there was this big foreign looking guy, his wife and kid (trying to either snap or film everything on the park) sitting behind him looking totally bemused :icon_mrgreen: . Then again in all honesty I never saw a man with a bigger grin than this big foreigner..........he smiled from the minute he took his seat until the end of the game. I got the feeling it was his first visit to paradise and he's never going to forget it:56:

Yup footies got a lot to answer for!

I still wouldn't change it for anything, i think those who suffer emotionally are passionate about the club fair does

    wrong

There have been a lot of emotional responses to our results this season & it got me thinking how results from a pretty insignificant part of our lives can have a real effect on our happiness.
You are totally wrong,it's not only a game,it's a way of life, that is what being in the Celtic community is all about, football, charity, political, religious, music and how people behave, just look at Seville for instance, who could take all those fans and have no trouble, just a pity some on here don't believe in free speach.:shamrock:

Celtic is more than a club, which makes supporting them more than a past time.

When 60,000 celtic fans are singing Walk On and you feel the hairs on the back of the neck stand up and your eyes water and throat dries up then you know its more than a Club and your in for the ride of your life, good and bad but no matter what you are a Celtic Supporter !!

So for me it affects me pretty bad haha

    Hail Hail !!

Well for example, after the Aberdeen game last week I was probably showing signs of clinical depression for a couple days after. I go very quiet and barely speak to my girlfriend. This is probably the reason why she wants Celtic to win as much as I do now!
