Anyone know what happened to the lad? He went from pushing for a first team place with a string of impressive impact sub appearances to not paying nearly any first team football and actually playing rightback in the recent reserve matches.

Did he have a row with Mogga? Or was he just pushed out of a spot by Kamara? And if so his chances of first team football won't improve once Maloney comes back and plays three or four games before getting hurt. Kinda disappointed I thought McGinn was really starting to show promise and he's still a young lad who could eventually attempt to fill McGeady's shoes IF McGeady happens to be sold.

Doesn't seem to make much impact when he starts, but he's a good option to bring off the bench to give us some engergy

my fear for McGinn is he will never be able to command a regular starting place for us

so if Wolves were to offer £1m+ i'd jump at it

He's too young, too inconsistent, and plays hit or miss defensively. He needs more time before he'll be an option at the wing. Great sub and we should hang onto him as I only see him getting better. If he doesn't sell him next January and make a pretty penny. All in all, good player to have.

i think he has got great potential, can remember when he came on against hamilton i think and scored a cracker of a goal and for NI he was man of the match against serbia and even the NI fans didn't boo him because he played so well and in other games he has played well but his last few games he didn't play too well though think everyone seems to thinks he isn't good enough now.

Really think he should have went on loan to someone in January. He needs games to improve, and Celtic cant afford to give him any in the current situation (and Maloney coming back soon).

kamara coming in pushed him to the back of the line. not much of a finisher so with aiden on the pitch at the same time, it's a bit of a drain

He started 2 or 3 games in a row after everyone shouting about him getting a chance and being better than McGeady and it proved he really isn't. Hes a good person to have on the bench.

TM is playing too many weird formations, so there's currently no place for McGuin I think. He's forcing himself to play three strikers every game, so we can only play three midfielders. As long as feels the urge to satisfy our five strikers by making sure they all play, our midfielders will lose out.... including McGuinn

too many short term thinkers here imo,the lad has looked good and scored well given his limited chances, wingers are notoriosly inconsistent and need a good run of games to show top form, however ,the shambles we r in at the mo i would sell the lad as i hate to see talent wasted and nobody is guaranteed games just now unless the manager has spunked millions on them

Man of the Match vs Vienna away in the Europa. Talent in abundance, especially when you consider how long, despite his age, he has actually been playing Pro Football. He has only been concentrating on Football since he signed for Derry City Jan 2008; before that it was Gaelic Football/Football. In January 2010 he was awarded the 'George Best Breakthrough Award' in recognition of his impressive performances for Club and Country.
This Summer, if Big Eck is prepared to pay £8m-£10m for Aiden McG, I say take it and we have a ready made replacement in Niall McG. Great footballing future ahead, providing we make him feel wanted and look after him, otherwise he will be off.

Anyone get a bitter feeling seeing Liam Miller turn out and do well for a club like Hibs,or further back but just as relevant Shay Given? Would'nt like to be feeling that way again with this kid! Let him alone, see how he develops and what he makes of his chances,if some of you will give him any!!

Even with McGeady suspended today I think Tony will opt for the 3-1-2 rather than partner McGinn with Kamara.
