First time I have posted a thread normally busy just reading everyones comments. As a season ticket holder along with my wife and two children I dont want to go to game on saturday and protest or boo players because I want my childrento grow up realising that you support your team through thick and thin however it is not just the game on Saturday but if we look back over the course of the season there has been some terrible results. My point is I dont want to see any human being losing their job but as FANS when do we make a stand and demand better we are always diging deep into our own pockets to follow the team so surely we deserve better what if we give him time and by christmas we are ten points behind that mob again. My personal view is we give it to end of season and if we finish anymore than 5 points behind them he has to go. What are the views of when enough is enough

If we dont win the next two games then I think he should go. So the new manager cant get to the end of the season with the players.

i dont know mate if the results continue like this for the rest of the season i think they could sack him because the board wont to risk playing in front of even less fans next year that could cost the club alot . although i hope we dont sack him cause im hoping we at least close the gap

You are right mate and justifiably so. You pay your £500+ every year
and you deserve better. We lost the league last year because of gross incompetence by the board in not investing in a quality striker and left back. It was not Strachan to blame for that as he had already delivered 3IAR, along with plenty of silverware and two CL last 16 places. Strachan could only work with the tools he had in his box, and the Huns spent a lot of money that year in getting Bougherra, Davis, Miller and Co in.

The Board's mistake this year was in failing to get their No.1 target for to replace Strachan and that was Owen Coyle. We ended up with a third choice option in Mowbray, who had just tasted defeat in relegating his own club West Brom back down to the Championship. The stats and facts of this year under Mowbray which I posted earlier show the results of the baord's failure and the shocking incompetence and ineptness of our third choice manager Mowbray.

The league is gone, anyone else who thinks otherwise is living in Cloud Cuckoo Land imo, we are out of Europe and the CS Cup, and are trailing Rangers by a massive 10 points, and they also have an unassailable goal difference.

Our attendances are dwindling fast, turnover is down and our debt levels are increasing, all very worrying trends, and I expect this year's figures to be much worse. The fan base is angry and divided across all the messageboards, forums and clubs, and if it is not corected very soon by the board, we face sliding into a financial crisis, and looking at crowds of 30,000 for the remaining home fixtures.

We have reached the point of no return, and I expect to see the board take decisive and rapid action to save us from this impending calamity.

    spot on

This is the most complete thread informed and without going to extremes,
when I looked around our section top of the North stand 404, not long into the season, you could already see empty seats thro his bad results, he takes the credits so must take the blame for the team, board are responsible for the rest, was not long ago you could not get a seat or season ticket for love or money, now they are down to selling tickets for indivual games, so spot on in every respect.

its a 4 year project, tony is showing signs of great potential, give him next year aswell as this and if there is still no change, then its time to go.
i will back mowbary as a season ticket holder as he will make us a driving force in scotland once again, and will bring good football, that we are undoubtably playing better than last year.
get behind the team and back mowbary.
    hail hail.

We were starting to get some consistency before the transfer window, when he got rid of 3 of the settled back four and replaced them with??? Jos got rushed intay the team coz we got rid of caldwell without any fit replacement and now hes *, now we are playing an 18 year old who might be good in the future but his lack of pace is really scary and no were near ready. we were so despearate to clear the deadwood we forgot to get replacements

the back four has chopped and changed all season either through injury or lack of form.

Firstly we did try to get Coyle & he knocked us back - the board cannot be blamed for not being able to compete with EPL clubs, even ones like Burnley & Bolton - smell the coffee & wake up, this is the SPL talking to you!

Secondly we did have CB replacements lined up & we didn't get them, Championship clubs asking FAR too much money & greedy agents asking FAR too much money - what can a guy do? Pay over the odds in this financial climate? See how far that gets you - look across the river to Govan for a clue!

Thirdly the CB's we got rid of were either *, or were offered a contract with Celtic & with WGS at Boro, but instead chose to go to Wigan in - yes you guessed it the bottom feeder region of the EPL, same as Owen Coyle. Nice to see that Caldwell can continue to score OG's in such a team with such a manager - one who supposedly also knocked us back, if rumours are to be believed.

Anyway, we're not out of it yet - it looks bleak, but as long as there is hope I will keep the faith.

We simply don't have the money to bring in players before others are out the door.

Lawell will never let the Bobo fiasco happen to him again.

It's now a case of getting players off the wages bill, before getting others on it - even more so than raising funds.

The thing is Hairytoes I was told by an impeccable source that Owen Coyle had agreed to take the job under an agreed transfer budget. But then Reid and Lawwell changed the goal posts, and told Owen he would get his transfer monies over three transfer windows. OC wanted the money upfront to bring his own men with him into the job. When Reid & Lawell changed the agreement, Coyle told them the divided transfer monies would not be enough for him to do the job properly. He then declined the job.

    Fair enough, if true.

We have a restricted area to work within Doc. V.

We can't go flinging money about like confetti - if managers want to have budgets that we can't afford, then I'm haapy for the Board to send them on their way.

Rangers have a lot to answer for, for giving Advocaate such a big transfer kitty. Other clubs are paying the same price too & have done already - I don't want a part of that game.

The same money they initially promised Coyle would more than likely have been recouped from winning the league under Coyle, and also probably progressing into the CL proper. Without the aid of a crystal ball, I am pretty sure Coyle would have done that. So you see Hairytoes, getting the right man in from the start, no matter the initial cost, always pays dividends in the long run.

I expected everything I saw and heard about Mowbray. A manager who from time to time had his team playing excellent passages of play but ultimately was a loser. He lost games because he didn't know how to change them.

We are getting exactly what most of us who weren't blinded by the Moggatastic Revolution expected.....Our fucken baws felt! :31::31::31:

    messing about

Alex that is his problem look at the team stats in the view, not just the back,it's all over, mc ginn one week oot next, after good game, and so on, gets too long to go thro it all,not the same midfield playing from one week till the next, players need settled team so as know how they play and where they will turn up in the field, was quite impressed at the start but that quickly went with all his messing about.
