Second he has a couple of bad games, he'll be pish and a waste a money like sammy :31:

I like style of the big man and always have, had a lot of arguments defending him but hes showing hes a big quality modern Centre forward

Great striker who hopefully will run Weir and Bougherra ragged at Ibrox and will score a screamer reminiscent of Andy Thom's goal there in 95. It surprises me hes not in the France squad.

Fortune isnt good enough imo. He has improved but for me he has a slow football brain..he doesnt see passes and his control is questionable to say the least.

He has some turn on him, if he had the finishing ability of a Skippy or a Boyd he'd bag 30+ with ease.

I thought for a while MAF was coming on to a game but he's gone off the boil again.

I don't this guy is going to make it. I can see why he isn't a regular goalscorer, when a chance falls to him he doesn't look as if he believes he's going to score. There seems to be a lack of belief and a definite lack of killer instinct in his finishing.

Spending £3.8million on Fortune'e was not one of Tony Mowbray's better moves.

Fortune is no better than Samaras, in fact I'd play Sammy before Marco.

Does anyone think MAF will leave at the end of the season now that TM is no longer here? I think TM being at Celtic swung it for MAF so there may be a chance that he want's to move on too??

Very possible Markie, doubt we'd get anywhere near the 3.8 million paid though.

I think if he was partnered with a proper target man then he'd be good for us but it's all about balance and he wasn't the type of striker we needed most.

I have been impressed with him to be honest. The way he can hold the ball up and take it round defenders and he has got good pace and strength. I would play him out wide though. I would like him to stay next season.

I like him too, I just don't think he was what we needed at the time which is why so many people are against him.

If he did want to go I can't see us getting our money back though.
