m8 before the last old firm game rangers dished out 3 hammerings to hibs , dundee , and cant remember the other one , every was backing the huns to come to park head and outplay us but they didnt they came we played our football and absolutely outclassed them for 90 mins the mighty champions were chasing our shadows the whole game and it took the referee to save them plus our bad finishing but now weve got strikers who can actually score , if we play like that again in the next 2 old firm games and take our chances we will * embarrass them * in front of the world , theyll know next year their in for a fight !! :50:

its over alright,it was over on the 3rd jan in my eyes after the huns draw that day it was only going one way,the title is govan bound and yes it was depressing knowing the league was lost in jan.

agreed scottish cup is paramount now just to at least finish a disastrous campaign on a high and obviously prevent them gettin the treble

it's getting harder and harder for me to stay positive. i'm just hoping we can take 6 points from the huns, cutting their lead to 4. and judging from the last two OF matches, i think this is possible..then hoping they drop points elsewhere.

Why don't we just bend over and let Huns pump us until the end of 38th fixture? What kind of attitude is that!? There's no place for that rotten, spoiled and defeatist way of thinking in sports, especially not among Celtic fans.

Theres no way we can win this now, * we cant even string 3 wins in a row just now, never mind win the next 13 games in a row, and also hope that Rangers drop points elsewhere. * this season, as long we get into Europe, and it gives the bhoys a chance to gel as a team to rip those * a new * next season. Would also send Keane back, he's not staying beyond this season, so get rid and stick with the team thats gonna be here next year

    An honest assessment !!!

As much as I hate to admit it I think it's well and truly over, how many times have we had chances this season, lot's of chances and we have failed to make any count.

    Grand old team
I wish we would stop changing the team week in week out...Dunno but Zheng Zhi is a empty jersey, then he`s out next week same with crosas etc. there is NEVER a settled team. Scott Brown can leave whenever he`s never a captain. i want some fight in this team, i`m sick of going one step forward 2 steps back.....The League is NOT over yet, but we need to start taking control and holding on to win, without any help from Ref`s cos it`s plain to see they are not giving us anything this season. we CAN beat rangers twice, BUT it`s the STUPID points elswere were we will lose this league.

No coz when we lost at killie everyone said thts it 10 pts behind its over. Then motherwell hold rangers to a draw and we close gap by 2pts. bad weekends football but we are just back to where we were and still enough games including the 2 OF's.

    Dont give up yet

I feel the same as bublebee1988, it seems like it now, but wait until Rangers drop points, we'll all be saying we can win the league again.

Reading some of the posts on this thread is making me start to believe again. Why do we do this to ourselves!?

I agree that Rangers will still drop points eg whos to say they won't draw next sat as they have a tricky game away to St Johnstone in the 12:30 game and lets say we beat dun utd (which is possible, as they've never been the same team since Levein left its back to down to 8 again. If we are to win at Ibrox, then all 11 players must be absolutely at the top of their game and come out fighting like lions. Hooiveld and Loovens especially must be at their peak and defend for their lives, (remember both are 6ft 3) and in the early stages put the boot into Miller and Boyd to get the message across that they mean business. I think Fortuné and Keane will cause the Huns defence problems and we will definitely score, though I don't know if it will be enough to win the game or eventually the title.
