    im quite glad he's staying mate!! he's a natural goalscorer and hopefully Ray Clarke and GS r looking at young strikers around Europe, so we can find superstars to replace him, eventually

    I think we will try to bring in another, coz i don't fink Dion is staying and I fink GS is a fan of 4 strikers, mate, but the big piority is the defence, GS has to sort it out for an assault on the UCL

    thats true mate, but I still think we need an established quality striker to bang in the goals, especially in the UCL

    We wont be able to afford next striker because Hartson earns 30k, and we already have 4 strikers, even 5 coz Maloney can play upfront.

    Good Point, Hartson does earn a big wage, I don't think a striker is essential tho,
    but i wud like to see another, BUT I ADMIT IF WE GET MONEY TO SPEND IT SHOULD BE SPEND ON THE DEFENCE

    We have one... Majic has proved many many times that he can easily put many goals to the net of quality teams... everything he needs is a support of the team... his team mates are still learning how to play with him... next season should be even better for him IMO...

    yea I'm sure Majic will show his pure class next season. Nevertheless I would like to see a new quality striker in the team while I'm not sure about Hartson and Dion and would like to see Maloney rather in the midfield where he is brilliant!

    yes im also happy with BBJ staying , the guy has scored many important goals for us over the last few years.We will have 2 types of striker still at the club ,the one like BBJ & Beattie who can shield the ball well and hold play up waiting for support ,and Miller & Majic who will no doubt punish defences with their speed & ability to poach round the box ..

    im not convinced this is a good thing. hes getting past it. we could get decent money for him if we cash in on him in the summer or get none at all.

    I think Hartson will play better with Miller alongside him, Miller will run all day is faster and more direct than Zurawski, this could suit Hartson better.

    Hartson - Miller? I think that this should work, Hartson is big man and can win balls in the air, Kenny is very quick, quicker than Maciej.
