Not saying I would personally take any of them, not sayign I wouldnt either.

The point I am making, is that we would need to be going for a up and coming manager, in the mold of Owen Coyle, and the likes of Darren Ferguson and Lambert seem to be doing well, and we could miss the boat with guys like these.

So realistically, you think Celtic could now attract Guss Hiddink to the SPL ???

Where you mad with it when the whole rigmarole was going on with Owen Coyle?

Why dont we just bring MON in while we are at it...

"this is celtic mate one of the most popular clubs worldwide and fan base and we should lower our expectation level dont think so"

We have Tony Mowbury just now as our manager, an ex player who finished bottom of the EPL, doesnt that void your above argument completly?

I want to keep Mowbray for now but I like the cut of John Hughes' jib. Not a big or terribly exciting name but I think he's about where we are at just now.

Guys like this are the reason I created this thread in the 1st place.

While there are still people out there, who have completely un-realistic expectations of the kind of player and manager we should be attracting, we will never move forward, and the blame culture will still exist.

WE PLAY IN THE SCOTTISH PREMIER LEAGUE MATE, WHERE 8000 PEOPLE AT MATCHES, UNPLAYABLE PITCHES, 12 TEAMS, PLAY EACH OTHER 4 TIMES...

The list goes on.... Unfortunately for Celtic, its the habitat that we are in!

Is this going to happen every time we drop points? Create polls, slander the guy, hound him out the door. If you ask me i thought we played amazing, and if it is anybodys "fault" it is Braafheids, we were * cruising until he decided to pull that stunt. Give him until the end of the season, make a decent push for the title and a scottish cup, THEN decide.

You clearly don't know what that slogan means.

It's faithful to the club, not individuals, and certainly not individuals who are hindering success for the club, as Mowbray is doing.

If the board do decide to get rid of Mowbray, which I hope they don't in all honesty, I'd go back to my original choice before Mowbray got the job...and that was Willie McStay.

What is it you want, a board with everyone agreeing with each other and saying yes, it gony come good.

Get a grip mate, Celtic is purely a business now, we are paying customers, and have every right to air and voice our opinions, good or bad.

Yep people tend to think it makes them look good if they say how much they support the manager, even one who is failing to beat the worst rangers team in recent times.

It's amazing to look back into Celtic's history and see how few managers we had in the first hundred years of our existance, during the last twenty or so we've had even more.

Does that say that today's Celtic support is less tolerable than the guys on the terrances up to Jock Stein and Billy Mc Neill were managers, or is simply a case of the current managers not being able to handle the reins at a club like Celtic ?
