Yes Brafheid had a stinker yesterday, so why didn't he go off? If Ki was to go on Kamara or Brown should have gone off, we weren't chasing the game so why do we take more of an attacking apporach when we need to defend?

You'd think that it should be game over but unsurprisingly we drop more points when we threatened to close the gap on the huns.

refs are always poor, always have been but we've overcame it in the past and need to stop using it as an excuse.cause then the old paranioa pish gets spouted by the media and the manky mob(who actually indulge in more paranoia but get away with it without anyone batting an eyelid, over the last 2 years everyone has had an agenda against them, officials, the written media, fifa, uefa, foriegn police, other teams and they even tried to set up a protest at the bbc building.laughable shower of *)

Exactly, we werent chasing the game, we were pretty comfortable, they were just simple changes that mogga made! Keane doesnt go back for corners, samaras is 6 foot 3 and does go back and its an extra man at the back if we needed to defend set pieces, where charlie mulgrew was causing us most problems! Plus we shouldnt need to defend! We were comfortable after that 4th goal went in. I didnt think braffheid played all that bad! Just a complete moment of stupidity! Madness! If you look away from that incident he didnt play awful......that mistake turned the game though and we forget his overall performance!

These last months have divided our Celtic community but on the whole people have been willing to give him a chance, before xmas we all knew what had to be our priority but we got drunk on the strikers we bought-especially Keano.BTM is the one we expect to guide the ship and rule with head, let the rest of us rule by heart. He had a problem in the team pre January and all of us were watching it week in week out.His big chance came to bring what was needed and,as it seems-he has blundered badly. At the start of the Huns upside-down 6 in a row, they stole a march on us by firstly having more money, then by spending it in a fairly wise way. This financial opportunity looks as though it's passing us by because frankly-(like the Barnes fiasco)BTM has a "vision",hmmm.
My whole point is about failure to spend wisely in a POSITIONAL sense,on the field. Those who would argue that 3 CB's were out, what if it was 3 strikers? Would we have had the cover? Mowbray would've been glad he did'nt have to tell 3 of them that they would'nt start the game!! GEDDIT?

I regret to say that I agree the time is right for Tony Mowbray to go and if the Celtic Rumours twitter about Peter Grant is to be believed, the wheels may already be in motion.

However, I fear that the board will replace him with someone utterly spineless who will just accept their "asset management" strategy that get CQN posters all sticky with excitement.

If you need an example of what has gone wrong at Celtic, look no further than than blog.

An open letter to Tony Mowbray.

We can call it a conspiracy or incompetence but one thing is clear - there is no consistency in the way Celtic and Rangers players are treated.

Personally, I think that even those refs that are not against us have been pressured by a combination of the media and Donald McVicar into favouring the Huns.

Look at Iain Brines - the press inaccurately highlights one disallowed Aberdeen goal (when the ball was struck AFTER the whistle had blown) and then one further complaint that a decision has gone against the Huns sees McVicar publicly harangue his own refs and have Brines removed from the UEFA list.

Even if he was fair-minded, is he ever going to give a big decision in our favour or against the Huns without thinking about the consequences? The least that Celtic can do is start applying as much pressure on refs as Rangers are able to do through their rags.

Otherwise, denying us penalties, penalising our players and disallowing goals against the Huns will always be an easy option.

this is a joke, he is the manager, not the players, the players need a foot up the a**e after that defending, they are professionals who should know how to mark players and defend set pieces, it aint his fault, when the players go over the white line its up to them

Mowbary can't be blamed for the draw at the weekend
No 11 Celtic players should lose a 2 goal lead !
The board obviously beleive in Mowbary's long term plan and if the give him money in January to bring in N'Guemo, Kamara and a couple of centre backs i have no problem with him staying

Who is actually picking the players at Celtic ? Would Mowbray have bought Ki or ZZ ? Would he have gone for Robbie Keane on loan ? I think it's Lawwell doing with Desmond's backing, it wrong, but I honestly believe that's what's happening.

I think everyone agrees that our back four was * and needed overhauled, I liked the idea of Mc Manus, Caldwell and Naylor getting punted, Hinkel isn't as good as most believe, good on the attack, * in defence, the same applies to Danny Fox.

So why spend so much in securing the services of Keane and Camara, we really need two hard tackling central defenders first and foremost. Mowbray has been told to play these two (Keane & Camara), it's a shame for Rasmussen, he appears to be fearful and has an eye for goal.

A very good point indeed.........the first thing that TM should have done instead of hounding Fortune and strikers, was to go and get 2 strong CB's and look for a rock solid DM, then look at your strikers.

I'm note sure how much the board and Des have influenced these but whoever it is they must surely now, at long last, see that our back line has been gash for seasons.....!!!

He CANT be allowed to continually make crazy decisions and his footballing "principle" is niave !! Any team who throw in balls to our box will score. For me his big mistake was far too many changes too soon. AND defensively we have came out of the transfer window weaker than we went in,UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!! League is over stop deluding ourselves. I will even say that the huns will win it by more or less the same margin of points that they have over us now. He wants to play entertaining football but does nt seem to grasp that an integral part of that plan is BUILD FROM THE BACK.Wim Jansen done it Martin Oneill done it but Mowbray seems to think that strikers alone are the answer. Hope the board are looking now and That Mowbray goes end of season. :52:

good post mate moggas taking all the heat of the players atm people say mogga cant seem to get the players up for it tbh he shouldn't have to as soon as they put that green and white jersey on that should be enough to get them motivated and play to their best every game, plus theyre professional footballers they should know how to defend

The changes had to be made.

How much longer do you think we should have been pumping money into the club for it to be given to complete duds like Caldwell and McManus?

Mowbray had the brains to see that strachans duds had to go and had the balls to do it.

Just look at what's went n what's came in. How can we complain?

Fox - Braffheid(ok * of a decision wit pen n confidence crashed after it but Dutch international who looked quality in other 2 games) huge improvement on the wand.
McManus - O'Dea. both pish so no stronger or weaker
Caldwell - Hooiveld. A scarcrow would do better than that *
Robson - Ki a player who had great dig n not a lot else replaced with a genuinely talented international player. Big improvement
    McDonald - Keane unmeasurable improvement
Flood - kamara a digital camara would be better than flood
killen - rassmussen already scored as many goals as killen n only played 3 games
