We knew we had an inexpeirienced defence. * are we playing 3 forwards at 4-2 up. even at 4-3? I've supported TM but now I'm beginning to wonder. Ki is a good player but we can only get away with him without 3 centre forwards on the pitch. Feel sorry for Brown who no doubt will get blamed despite his role in the second goal and a goal saving challenge. If you're outnumberd in mf, there's only so much you can do. If you don't believe me, look at Kamara's goal, a cf poachers goal, not a wingers. If we are winning, change the tactics to hold onto the lead FFS

Braafheid might of made a mistake and he should take the blame for the loss of 2 points but he still is a quality player and much better than Fox. We can still win the league, if looks unlikely but we still have a chance

People aint calling for Mowbrays head on this result alone, it the amount of points we have threw away all season. Theres been absolutely NO consistency all season and I personally dont see any improvement on our form. Performances in an attacking sense have got better but we need a manager who can teach us how to win games were winning, games that are in the balance AND games that were * poor in

When we are trying to defend a 4-2 lead, and Aberdeen have a free kick outside our box, would you rather have 5ft 9 Robbie Keane or a 6ft 3 Samaras defending the aerial threat?

Also our first choice centre halves were injured.

However Mowbray should be able to organise a defence and hasn't been able to all season.

He makes some stupid changes as far as I am concerned, okay you have to make subs when players are knackered or injured, but Mowbray seems to be hellbent in changing things for the change sake.

Taking of Robbie Keane at that point gave Aberdeen a real boost, he really is pressing the self-destruct button for Celtic.

In order for him to save his job Celtic need to go ten games without defeat, I not saying winning the league, I'm talking about showing some level of consistency in performance, results and with a reasonably settled team, stop * changing everything around every week Tony.

    Same here mate. :31:

This football club has a history & tradition to uphold, and IMO being unable to hold off Aberdeen at 4 - 2 up for 20 mins is nowhere near good enough. The management & players need a major rocket up their arses! Come on to * boys, get a grip!!! :ranting2:

Centre defence was always going to * us up in this game, I was just hoping we'd score more than we conceded. When our team puts four goals in the back of the net, they should be home and dry, not with our disgraceful defence. Defence wins titles.

I really wish my first post on here was on the back of what should really of being a 4-2 victory away to aberdeen. Defensively we have being a shambles all season and we can't get the basics right. I thought today our attacking play at times was fantastic keane, fortune, kamara and mcgeady all playing fluent interchanging with each other and creating lots of chances. We once again shot ourselves in the foot with gifvting aberdeen straight back into the game time and time. Anyway it could be a point gained if hibs win tomorrow at ibrox. Does anyone think part of our defensive problems could be mcgeady and kamara as good as they are going forward don't always give the full backs the support they need?

As someone who stood in the Jungle in the 60's & 70's, I have to say that if you looked at TM's record last year with WBA in the Premier League,he was often knocked for his principles of good open football played on the floor because many pundits said it had little or no regard for defence, e.g. Alan Hansen on MOTD. TM continually said then, as he has now, that he would not alter his principles. Last year when WBA were good they were great but when they were bad they were shocking, especially in defence. 1 year on and it is the same Manager, same principles, same results. Of course I am not saying we will get relegated but I can't believe folks are talking about us catching Rangers. Get real. We are on course to finish 3rd behind Hibs and that is a bigger concern to me.TM is, I believe, a good honest man with principles, which is all well and good but sadly I believe that the English Championship - 1 below the Premiership - is at this stage of his career, his limit. In a way I hope we do not qualify for next Year's Champions League because although the money would be great, it would not pay for the embarrassment of being ripped apart by the opposition. Whether it is TM or someone else, with this young side, next year the SPL Championship and then we will be ready for the bigger European Boys in 2011/12.

    same as the early 90s

Remember the Europe game and we scored 5 goals and still went out at Celtic Park, well here we are again, this team keeps getting changed round all over the fkn park from front to back, only stay is the goalkeeper, this clown hasn't a * scooobie, did'nt want him in the first place but thought I would stick with him, ha ha did that with barnes and look where that got us????? took ages to get back, he will need to go at the end of the season, if he gets that far, just take a close look at the results page and it makes you cringe.

In normal circumstances you could take a sharing of the points, particularly away from home to Aberdeen.
However to * away a two goal lead with 15mins left on the clock is unforgiveable, I have never criticised TM, but yesterdays result along with other similar shortcomings tells me he needs to get a grip real fast, if that's possible.
Like someone else said earlier, I too just wish the season was over and done with.
I'm sick to death coming home from the pub in bad form and being anti-social with other members of the family, it's just not fair on them and I wonder how this celtic team felt last night ? Do they feel the same as us ?
    I truly wonder.

Yesterday was an absolute disgrace. 4-2 up against a team that needed a goal in the 95th minute to draw with Raith Rovers!!! Why the * did TM take of Keane and put on another forward? He should have brought on Zhi and tried to pack the midfield and see the game out.

I know TMs philosophy is attacking football but we've seen before with Kevin Keegan and Ossie Ardiles that, whilst it might get you a lot of admirers, it doesn't win anything.

While Big Mick is not everyone's favourite I think it was a scandelous decision to put him out on loan. A couple of injuries and we're reduced to playing Darren O'Dea. All those fans who wanted him in the team, primarily because he's Irish, must be cringing now. He's not good enough to play for the majority of teams in the SPL never mind us.

Even if, by some miracle, we go on to win the league the current manager is simply not good enough. Loved him as a player and he seems a thoroughly decent man, but he's tactically inept. We are struggling against struggling clubs like Killie, St Johnstone and Falkirk, our European home record has been shot to pieces in a few short months and teams are no longer afraid to come to Parkhead.

The Board really need to think long and hard about the future direction of the club.

In all fairness we shoulda been able to take Keane n Fortune off yesterday at 4-2. The game shoulda been dead n burried.

The defence is beyond a joke now. Caddis simply hasnt got it defensively. He's OK goin forward but cannot defend. O'Dea is showing why he didnt get a game at Reading. The less said about Braafheid yesterday the better.

The manager should be sitting down wae this defence and getting them back to basics. That was school boy stuff yesterday.

In defence of Mowbray I dont see how any manager can work with this mess that we call a back 4!!!

What do you mean in defense of Mowbray? I don't think there should be such a thing as a defense for Mowbray.

He has had ample amount of time to sort out a reasonable defense that don't give up a lead three times in a game. And he has basically ignored the problem and instead concentrated the big money signings considerably more on the midfield and forwards.

The job is simply to big for him, and to those saying why was everyone praising Celtic on wednesday and are now slating. Simply because it is now clear that the job is just to big for Mowbray, I tried to be optimistic on Wednesday hoping that there was going to be a turnaround but now I very much doubt that turnaround is going to happen.

I'm expecting more 'hard luck' stories and defensive blunders which I am completely sick of to be honest. Who cares if we are the better team in most games? It's results that count.
