Villarreal B Team - more justification for a Celtic B team?

    Think it creates a bit of a messed up dynamic when the teams that are winning the league (which Celtic reserves probably would) are not allowed to get promoted.

    Always thought it would be a good idea, would give the youngsters the games they need and could help shape them into good players and also get more info on younger unnoticed scottish players, win win situation

    The reserve league was scrapped because some teams couldn't afford to/couldnt send out a team to fulfill the fixtures.

    Perhaps a Celtic and Rangers B team has to be the way to go, as we both have a lot of players training and not playing.

    Would certainly benefit us.

    yeah i think a british reserve league would be a good shout. then again they won't let us play down there down south with our first team, no doubt they will be an issue with our reserves. on the other hand putting our reserves or entering a B team into the scottish 2nd div would be a good shout, surly it must be * for the reserves at the minute, not knowing who they will be playing from game to game!

    i dare say attendances at lower league matches would increase to thus improving their revenue

    they are struggling to field a 1st team, and they will be selling again come the summer

    I thought we had our reseves playing in a league, are they not called Middlesboough?
