He would be my first choice as well with keane and Rasmussen up top with him. Fortune is effective, composed, strong and good in the air and his link play is superb and with 2 natural goalscorers along side him we will win the title in spite of the poor defence

I wouldn't call Keane a natural goal scorer to be honest and it's too early to say if Rasmussen will be! As for the title, just remember that it's not in our hands!

I'd play Fortune on the right wing with Rasmussen and Keane in the middle. Drop Aiden, let him have a time out and a wee rest.

    he should play .......
    Keane Rasmussen

    <-- Fortune -->
Fortune can play outside the box like he does and he is also ONE of the the very FEW players who can strike a ball at Celtic.

Yep Ras put a nice wee pass through for Keane for the pen and they tried at least 3 or 4 more through balls that were intercepted.

The good thing is we have a bit of variety at least untill the end of the season and should never see a Samaras - Fortune partnership again..
We have Samaras and Fortune running in zig zags and Keane and Rasmussen occupying the central area from 30 yards and in.. We have decent shooting from all 4 guys and Kamara looks like he can offer a bit of everything..

Unfortunately our non existent defending probably restricts TM's preferred formation of 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2 for the time being.. If we were going 3 up front then it would have to be Keane , Rasmussen and any 1 from the other 3 IMO..
If it's a front 2 then it has to be Keane and 1 other (probably Fortune)..

I like the idea of Rasmussen and Keane forming a partnership but I can understand Rasmussen being benched (which I think will happen tomorrow) as he's the obvious substitute for Keane , to come on and play through the middle..

Its impossible to judge rasmussen after 2 games, his link up play wasnt great in all honesty, but hes a 6 yard box player and thats all he ever claims to be, i like him and he will score 25 goals next season.

Guys think about it fortunes game is all about drifting out wide from the centre and finding space that way, he wouldn't get anywhere near the same joy he gets coming from the centre.

Just because he drifts out there alot dosen't mean he could skin a full back and deliver a great ball so having him on the wing is a non starter imo, in the hole aint a bad option though.

    I would think about

    .........brown............n'guemo.........crosas.........

    ...............................fortune.........................

    .....................rasmussen.............keane.........

Of course the wing back would have to get forward a lot more for this to work.

tbf fortune has been through his best run of form lately and it would be incredibly harsh for him to just be dumped

i agree with those who say play ras, keane and fortune, fortune plays outwide most of the time anyway so he and keane could play as wide strikers and ras in the middle, could be a deadly leathal frontline given the chance

Yeah I had considered that as a possibility too. It means playing with a 3 man central midfield though which means, in all likelihood, dropping McGeady. For that reason alone it won't happen.
