I agree completely mate.

There's also pressure on the strikers every single game, banging in one goal is most probably not enough with a slack defence like ours. Some players crumble under this sort of pressure, we've enough options attacking wise, to make sure we convert more than one of the chances created I think.

 

It's been a combination of factors IMO. Bad Defending, bad goalkeeping and bad luck in front of goal. I just wonder how many times we have clattered the woodwork this year. If someone had that stats for that I think it would make interesting reading.

And don't forget bad refereeing which has cost us the first two Old Firm games, and also our failure to convert many of of our penalty kicks this year, not that we have had many.

And finally due to the necessary culling of Strachan's team by TM, it is taking an extraordinary time for the new team to gel, and I do feel sympathy for Tony's position, because as he expressed himself today on camera, he has only got his new guys in last week.

worst i have seen us in defence in a long time, odea and thompson had no idea who was doing what today! As for the other defenders Loovens prone to mistakes and we don't know enough about Hooiveld and Rogne to say they will be any better.

Shocking defense. Can't keep a lead for 5 minutes these days, I just wished mowbary would get on the touch line and inspire the players. Peter grant spends much more time on the touchline. Boruc does need to work on his positioning but he can still pull of vital saves though.

Too many chances (openers) missed !! and defence is crap , also our players area bunch of * and are being bitchslapped around the park ,today being a classic example!! i dont think nguemo is cut out for spl football !he is too light we need another battler in there with brown ,someone who will fire up the team like N lennon ..

why would we blame ourselves ?

 

* defence,* midfield,* strikers simple

 

No leadership on or off the park. Arthur's probably the only shouter who could tell players what to do now. Before we had Robson,Lennon, Petrov etc who could do this.

 

Because all teams go through a sticky patch at some point in the season.

It only tends to turn into a long-term problem when the fans get on their backs.

I think that as Celtic supporters, we have a tendency to be "confidence players" - when things are going well we're the GFITW. When they start going badly we are less impressive.

 

The last three games is all that matters in this season IMO, TM was a crazy * who tried to destroy our club, 3 games 2 wins and more changes to come after R*£$ C9unt&.

Would never have picked the same team that were lucky to get a win at Hibs,they were awful,its alright blaming players, well dont pick them next time,simple,so lets see the line up tomorrow.This is your chance Lenny!

Sh*t where do you begin! No leaders, We sold them all DURING the season. No long term plan or strategy, Odea out Odea back?, Loan signings, No set formation no consistency in the starting line up or tactics.
Soft Midfield putting pressure on a pish defence. Poor supply from soft midfield to medicore forwards, (selling our leading goal scorer DURING the season). I think that covers some of it!
