who ever said there should be a list of songs that we can and cant sing at the football, that will never happen. not any time soon anyway. as the police and the stewards and the board like to change the rules when ever they feel like it about the crowd singing.

 

being a * fanatical celtic fan i find it offensive that people sing all pro republican crap, but agree about atmosphere being poor, to many females at games now, think woman should be banned from matches,

 

i didn't mean a list put out by the police or the board. i mean a list put out and agreed upon by supporters as there seems to be some conflicting views here as well. if we can get a consensus amongst the support, it could go a long way toward self policing and the board and stewards eventually backing off and allowing celtic park to have the sort of freedom that is neccessary to make it as cracking an atmosphere as possible

Im not going to get into the politics of it all, I nkow a fair bit myself bud, have freinds and family in N-Ireland who have lived through the troubles, but at the end of the day, it doesnt make me want to sing songs about the IRA or any rebel song for that matter in 2010!

And what if my father, never mind graet grand parents are is from Tyrone, doesnt stop me being Scottish and Celtic situated in Glasgow and the SPL!

Time to move on with the times peeps. The worlds in one * of a state the now without us singing about past tradegy's at a football match.
