i think he was trying to protect thompson from blame for the first goal. Nothing wrong with stating the truth. * sake if that going to hurt Thompson i hope he dosent read the tread about him on here he will never play again after the raping he got from some of our support on this very site.

I certainly think TM has things going in the right direction. For me, if we string together wins (regardless of whether we catch that other lot) and we compete well for the Scottish Cup then Mogga deserves at least another full season. He's loaded the team with young talent and I think the acquisition of Kamara, Hooiveld, Braafheid (hopefully) and N'Guemo gives us something to work with in the future.

Thompson being forced to play this year is a blessing in disguise. We were ten points back when he was forced into service. If we finish second no one can really blame him. Had it happened when we were two points up and then we had lost the league... well.

Getting an 18-year-old first team experience is huge. He's already serviceable at eighteen. Think what he'll be like in two years, * willing.

Tony will have to go to spec savers for a vision enhancement if he keeps playing Loovens,Boruc and zz
We wanted change and he is bringing it,a few duds have gone and we are starting to see the next bunch of duds on the horizon for the chop
and to tell you the truth most of our 1st team starters were or are not up to scratch and these will be moved on in the summer only the strong will survive .
i lost faith in TM a while back but still giving him the benifit of the doubt
and just waiting for him to up the anty in terms of results

Sorry dont agree Jamesy. Fergie Chooses to tinker with his team from a position of trength and is successful most of the time. Mowbray tinkers out of desperation and not knowing what his best team is

i think we will have to get up to speed, and also be on the lookout for a player who is going to replace Keane, its all right and fine just now, but should the regular guys in the team get used of his presence * knows what they will feel like when he leaves,
playing regular contracted players is best in our scenario, so as they bond so hope the board realizes this, is only the start of the problems we face, and players living out of suit cases, is never very good for them, or there club, it can cause so much stress, hotel living ain't for every one, but i can imagine you cant switch of from the
receptionists, greeting in the morning or night good or bad

    Too many to name.
Not at all!! It proves he has the guts to change things around and try new systems. Any Tic fan who thought it was all gonna fall into place in a few months is sadly deluded. It'll take at least 2 seasons to get real success back at the club and we must afford him this time.

What? So 'that other team' can go 3IAR on the park whilst they are crippled off it? To paraphrase TM's own words after the Dunfermline match, he is implementing change from a position of strength. This should mean substance must be the priority over style, which can be implemented gradually. Thats hardly how I'd describe his tenure. I want him to do well, but the concerns are growing.

That is absolute and utter nonscence!!!

Where in the rule book does it say "it takes 2 years for sucess after a manager comes in"

Strachan won the league in his 1st season, so did oneil, so did jansen!

You are just making excuses now, with the players we have and the money weve spent and rangers falling into administration, we should be winning that league at a canter.

Were celtic, we want immediate sucess.. Simple as that.

Not only did they do it their 1st season they done it convincingly against a better gers sides.
It should not take 2 years to implement your views on a side. We should have been challenging alot more this season than what has been getting done, new signings or not. There must be better performances and results very quickly or it will just get worse, mainly attendances which are hurting very much. I know I can't afford my season ticket but I pay for it to watch good football and winning trophies. If nothing starts to look better by end of the season then I can see a lot of fans, me included, not willing to pay £500+ (not including cup and euro games) for sub-standard football.

I personally think we will romp the league next year, i would stick my neck oot and even say the treble could be on. We will strenghing the defence over the summmer. the team will have an aditional 6 months to gel this season and we have pre season aswell. I think the football will be a pleasure to watch and if your punting your season book i'll take it, lol :50:

I can definately see improvements but there's still some leaky holes that need some plugging.

But i've been deliberately just looking for positives from our season as it's been a rough ride and what i saw was:

Braafheid looks like a good short term piece of business, who knows he might decide if we win the league that he wants a bash at first team football in the Champions league?

Either way he looked a great player against Dunfermline, but he'll be judged against the Orcs, as all players usually are.

Keane has brought a well needed morale boost to the squad and fans. I can't remember the last time i got that excited about a signing. Who also looks like he won't be a big flop from his movement he's going to cause problems.

Kamara i had wrote off for some reason and seeing that rocket shot go in changed my opinion completely, i hope he keeps that up. He looks like a good signing. Anyone know the fee agreed to make it permanent? (I've heard £400k?)

Josh Thompson, love him or hate him he's looked like a good player to me. Only 18 years old and i'd say he's handling it pretty well.

He'll hopefully only get better from here.

Ki Sung-yong doesn't look like he'll be another Naka but he looks like he's ready to make a reputation of his own all the same.

All in all exciting times ahead, no doubt with some speed bumps along the way.

Tm's vision = blurred, confused and no league flag this year,on a brighter note with contacts in = the treble 3 years in a row

wouldn't that be a turn around

Been thinking the same thing, mate. "We're Celtic we demand immediate success". Since when? MON?

Although we have come on this decade, this has been the exception rather than the rule.

Some folk on here expect us to be turning over top tier European sides regularly etc due to being spoiled in recent years.

I hardly a old yin myself at 24, but I was coherent during the 90s and grew up when we were firmly number 2, ffs must have been 13 when I first saw us as champions.

    New generation, new expectations.
