hail hail the celts are here
we got the right result in the end, very soft pen against caddis, new signings looked good ,defence still got to gel, rasmussen will score more than he will miss typical poacher just what weve been needing for a long time, hail hail.

caddis failed attempts won us corners, but thats another problem, either hitting them in or going to connect, and why is there never a player at the back for over hit ones.

    We Beat Dunfermline !!!

    Guys

Not on here as the prophet of doom or anything, but have been reading some posts and a lot of people seem to think due to this win we have turned the Corner.

We beat a run of the mill 1st division side and lost 2 poor goals.

Pluses and minuses to take from this game

    Pluses:

Mowburry showed that he could change the formation - away from the usual 4-4-2.
Braaf looked like a player at left back, tidy on the ball, likes to get forward.
Keane changed the game, good to have him for a few months.
At last we have a penalty box striker, Rass looks a signing!

    Minuses:

3 in the middle of the park all sat to deep, Brown should have supported more.
We rely constantly on the full backs to create chances.
We need a playmaker in the middle of the park, (more so if we play the 4-3-3)
Sloppy defending at times, centre half positions better, but still not there

Theres a few gripes, but I would hold of saying we have turned the corner, i would judge Mogga on the next 5-6 games, Rangers could also be dropping points in their next 2 games Motherwell away and Hibs at home!

If they dont, they will be taking a big step to the title.

7/2 for Celtic at the moment is a decent price!

The next 2 games will see if we're in with a chance of winning the league or not.

Its not corner turning yet... its a start, thats all, and can only hope the confidence taken from the match can be translated into performances in the league. All season we have had a few one-off performances, but haven't been able to string wins together, aand thats what counts.

personaly i thoght the game was quite flat i exspected celtic so come out and put 4-5 past them and call it a day n i thought that was the going to be the case when camara scored that rifle of a shot was dissapointed to see them go 2 goal behind after 15 mins of our goal. think brown should be more of a threat but he has just came back from injury so mabe a game or 2 to brush the dust of

    hail hail:celt_2:

    Just cant get enough
Was an improvement on what we saw last Tuesday and all of the new guys looked the part. Still not convinced that Mowbray is the right man but at least there is some hope

Boruc - didn't have much to do.. poor positioning for the first dunfermline goal -6/10
Caddis - poor game tbh.. still have high hopes for this lad.. but played poor yesterday - 6/10
Thompson - solid AGAIN! great signing - 7/10
Loovens - meh.. pretty poor again - 6/10
Braafheid - what a signing he looks to be! great debut! - 9/10
    Samaras - getting better.. - 6/10
Crosas - did he even play?? - 5/10
nGuemo - i dont know what people see in this guy.. misplaced passes all over the shop, poor again - 4/10
Brown - good performance by the new captain.. - 7/10
Kamara - great goal if truth be told. good performance overall - 7/10
Rasmussen - good poachers goal. Did well for what i thought was his second. Went down as an OG. If he wasn't there.. he wouldn't have scored the OG though! - 8/10

Keane - he made things happen yesterday. Unlucky not to get more, well taken penalty, what we've been needing for a long while. - 8/10

can't remember what other subs came on.

    sorry for being late :icon_mrgreen:
