    haha lungs mate, lungs.

I remember back when I was 16, I was in Edinburgh for my recruit selection to join the army and one fella got knocked back because his lungs were too small. That's why the story of Paddy having small LUNGS has always stuck in my mind. :50:

Perhaps Paddy could get some silicon implants in his 'lungs'. It certainly helped Katie Price's career. :icon_mrgreen:

yeh paddy mc court could start but he needs more stamina and he needs to stay injury free when he starts gettin games he allways seems to pick up knocks in to be honest if he keeps getting injured a dont see him at celtic for a long time. A aggree with you sayin we need his flair and ability but for me if he starts he will have a good spell for about 10 20 mins and then just fades away the more the game goes on thats why mowbray keeps him a reserve on the bench

The facts are that Man City offered Rochdale £1.5 million which they turned down. Paddy then fell out badly with Rochdales manager and ended up drifting back to Ireland, disillusioned with life in England. His ability has never been questioned by any of his coaches, however it is fairly common knowledge that he has an anerobic problem, which if he lived like a monk and ran a marathon a day, would still make him look unfit. There is nothing he can do about this genetic affliction, so theres no point calling him lazy as this is simply an urban myth.F*****g great to watch tho! I cant remember a player "ghosting" past players in that style......real edge of the seat stuff.

never knew bout paddy's aerobic condition. that's a real shame as it'll stymie his career.

Great footballer who could make an impact at any level game given time to adjust to better defenses and opposition quality. Unfortunate for his genetic disadvantage.

Defo a class player and if we can only have him for 20 mins here and there so be it - better to have him with us than against us imo
