Wow, he's 6'4" for an 18 year old. He draws parallels to Evander Sno imo

 

I think he has done better than most ( if not all )celtic defenders this season when he has been called upon.

 

He was the one responsible for us conceding the corner that led to Stokes goal. He mis headered it completely and Boruc clawed it out of the top corner for a corner. He has to take blame along with Boruc for that goal.

 

He's done ok.

He's young and a very good prospect and i don't see why someone can come on and say he's useless.

He was thrown in at a time when we were leaking goals and did well the defence looked more stable. tbf.

Ok, but who else would play? Mick and Loovens were terrible this season especially at Ibrox. Caldwell who we let go scored another og last night as his team were gubbed by Notts county and the Ramis deal fell through. With Jos taken off, we have got no other options

 

Could have happened to any defender, these things happen no need for him to be told he's not very good because of it.

No you didnt but this thread if full of he's */excellent comments which is shows that most appraisals of the player are just for the +1 on other people.

Most games when he played, we were on top for long spells. Cant deny that. He made a mistake leading to the goal in the Hibs match when there was decent pressure on our defence. I wouldnt go praising him too highly yet

 

And thats the only reason he is getting a game, we dont have decent options. He's not playing because he's excelled for the reserves or has played well, he's playing because he's the only option left.

I also said that its too early to tell if he will improve beyond his current level. He could be an Evander Sno where he did all his developing early. Every player is different.

I have to see him in a game where our defence is under alot of pressure for long spells, and then see him in another one and if he learned anything. thats the acid test

He looks very composed and comfortable with the ball, great prospect. Cannot believe hes being criticized, hes just started his career in essence, at a massive club, hes probably * it but still seems confident.
