When teams are playing us at their own ground, the onus is on them to come out and attack more than they would at Parkhead, therefore making the game more open. McCourt has scored his wonder goals this season away from home. Should he play a part in every away game?

goals to minutes ratio probably best at club. far and away our most exciting player.defenders nightmare.for a manager whose philosophy is apparentely open attacking football, i dont think hes handling the whole mccourtinho situation very well.Added to that, the fact that he is a confidence player, getting dropped every time he has a stormer can only be counterproductive. If you cant play him against the likes of hamilton, then let him go....for clearly tm doesnt trust his ability, which frankly i find rather baffling...:54:

We all know that pace and stamina isn't his strong point - I get the impression the smaller, tighter pitches means he can flourish and get closer to the goal with less running. Might just be an illusion though.

Personally I think McCourt plays better on smaller pitches. On smaller pitches if you take the ball past a few players yer on the edge of the box and in a shooting opportunity.

At Celtc Park, one of the largest (the largest?) pitches in the league he can't work his magic as easily.
