He scores goals.....all the time.....against every level of competition.

His all round play is poor but without him in recent seasons we would have won nothing and be in a worse state now than we are.

I would possibly consider selling him but for 3.5 million, no chance.

3.5m is very tempting and we are unlikely to get that anywhere else. I think we should be taking advantage of Strachans willingness to * so much cash on his old team.

At the same time, he is our most clinical striker, and in selling him we would have to hope Rassmussen is as much of a danger in the box as hes made out to be.

Never mind Mcdonald Get Rid of TM , As for PG all he does is sit in that Dugoot and watch the game never at the touch line shouting at team like Neil Lennon was, Think the Board need to think long and hard we cant go on losing games and not finishing teasm off..

Spot on mate, we can't rely on any of the three strikers (Samaras, Fortune & Mac Donald) to deliver the goods when required, the defence has been a shambles for about three years now, Hinkel, Caldwell, Loovens, Mc Manus and Fox are simply not good enough, let's hope Hooiveld are Rogne a bit more physical than these fairies !!!

it just means were relying on morten alot to perform and score goals straight away as fortune and samaras are not born goal scorer's, never will be! They are both supporting strikers and may have some goal runs but it wont last sadly, lets al hope mortens as good as he's been made out be!

Hopefully Rasmussen will turn out to be the finisher we need, I think if we sell McDonald Mogga will use it on the back line because that's what his biggest concern is. I mean when was the last time we had a clean sheet in a league game?

As much as I like Samaras I have to say with that beard and long hair, he's looking like the wrong kind of predator :56:

£3.5M is a total bargain! Celtic will be taking that if it's true.

And for the people saying "keep skippy, he is the only one to score goals!"

We tried that this season. He was missing open goals ..

Does Arca still play for Boro? If he is still a decent player, what about him if Strachan wants Wallace?

See ya Scott, for what it's worth; I really enjoyed watching him play. He scored some great goals and will be missed, however I think this has come at the right time and both the team and Scott will move on and forward.

Though to me, number 7 will always mean McDonald.

We struggled in this fixture last season and mcdonald came up with a great double, made the second himself, never forget that
