Im sorry mate but sammy has had alot more bad games than good, He was shocking last season and to be fair looked a little better under mowbray but bottom line the guy is consistent enough or good enough.

 

He's consistent alright, consistent in missing sitters. For all the hard work he does for the team shouldn't be enough anymore. He's a striker and you can't miss chances like that every 2nd game or so, it's happenned so many times this season.

I know what you mean, one minute he looks true quality then the next he looks like a ballerina which is the majority. Thing is though Sammy could go and have a great game against Hamilton and the same fans giving him stick right now will be praising him,thats what does my head in

 

I would punt him and get stokes in. The stokes fella is twice the player McDonald is and he would finish top goalscorer if he joined us

i'd sell mcdonald in an instant..duno why fans love him so much all he does is moan when not given the ball, hes lazy...his first touch well that pretty much speaks for itself!

sammy's much better he just needs the "supporters" the word support is in there..to get behind him, we need to stop expecting a larsson sutton or hartson...its no gonny happen !!!

I'll agree that Samaras is inconsistent but the stats don't lie. 9 goals in 18 league appearances (according to wiki) this year and overall with us he has scored 29 goals out of 64 appearances. Not exactly as bad as some be make him out to be. If he could get a bit more composure than I'm sure he could be even better.

Keep mcdonald iv said it before he is a dying breed in our squad in that he is a born Celtic fan that has a true passion and desire for the team to win, hence his constant moaning. That's how u know the wee man is Celtic daft. Sell him and were selling a guy who truly plays for that badge on his chest.

 

SG you seem of reasonable mind most of the time but Samaras's minutes per goal ratio is BETTER than McDonalds.

3.5mill is great money for skippy...we should take it....

If Rasmussen is a hit, Skippy wont get much game time...he'll be fourth choice behind Fortune, Sammy and Rasmussen.
