How do you think Mourinho, O'Neil, Erikkson, Rijjkard or Big Phil would do if they pulled on the hoops for a game.

In my view Lennon is a decent player but a bit passed it now, hartson is a waste of space, nakamura is too inconsistant one minute he's skinning everyone on the pitch then he has a game like sunday where he makes runs leaving the ball at his *.

I do get the impression that lennon is well liked on this forum to say the least !

Kyndig makes a good point in some ways. But, I think the bottom line is that every player has issues if you choose to pick on them.

Nakamura is no exception; in my view he's only as good as his teammates let him be. That's what makes Nakamura close to, but not a world class player. The players who let him be good include those whom Kyndig is criticising.

Having said that I agree with Kyndig as regards to some degree of bias (or should it be called "the benefit of the doubt") we tend to default upon. So it works both ways. I don't have any probs with it though either way. I think both views make sense depending on the perspective.

Against Hibs Nakamura was the best player on the park, in my master of opinion! :50:

Probably been sed before but everyone is entitled to their own opinon, i certainly let the team know how i feel if the are playing *, i have done for the 20 odd years i've been following them and will continue to do so, i pay good money every year to follow the hoops and feel i have the right to comment on how they are playing, anyone with a problem with that come down to JSS 140 tomorrow( the wee guy bouncing in and out his seat like zebedee near the front is me).

Guy's like BBJ and Lenny get allowance's sometimes because they deserve it, for what they have given to the cause for the last 5/6 years. Naka is a flair player who doesn't do enough for me and sometime deserves his critics. Remember Peter Grant, now there was a guy who wasn't the greatest celtic player but gave everything to the games he played in, so he like Lenny and BBJ was also let off with probably more than he should have.
If you show enough heart and determination that that will win over even the most hardened bhoys

There lays the problem with hartson. If he put in a shift the way Magic or Dublin does he wouldn't get half the critisism, but he puts in little physical effort. Scoring a goal takes an instant, there is an other 90mins+ where is contribution in open play is practically nil.

Hartson is not agile or fit enough to put in a workmanlike shift, he is capable of touches and assists, however he needs others to do the grafting for him, and misses a lot of open goalscoring opportunities that others would score, this was evident in the Hibs game.
And I would like to repeat Nakamura is a star, and he will even get better, here is a player that will put the likes of Hartson through, yet Hartson is too slow to capatalize on Naka`s excellent play.
Hope big John does leave, we need the money for fitter players. :50:

Right im not saying Hartson deserves no critics christ im the first to call him a big fat lazy *, yes he doesn't do enough in games sometimes but to say his effort is pratically nil is laughable and personally i won't be that upset if goes in the summer BUT can you imagine if the monkey's had looked past there own stupidity and signed him we would be hating him everytime he played against us (much like the rest of them of course ) but even more so for the fact the guy can score and has proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt. He deserves applause for that reason alone.
