If we sell him its a must that we get another in asap same with mcmanus if he goes we need another centre half

I think he'd play O'Dea instead of Naylor.

Atleast mowbray is man enough to admit he brought a player in, Admitting the guy wasnt good enough by any stretch of the imagination, now hes selling him for more than we got him for.

No harm done.

Now bring in a quality left back, we could have had Razvan Rat.

 

There must be somthing wrong i.e unsettled/falling out with team member. But it's a shame coz I thought he had played pretty well last few times he actually was playing, if he stays he could settle and become a steady LB for us.
But if he goes we must have a replacement as naylor should not be let near our team again and with misun out for a good few months still.

 

Paul Caddis did really well at LB on Sunday, he deserves a chance.

I'd still rather have a solid LB though - Kilbane is very interesting, with Misun coming back soon(ish) hopefully.
All depends on Kilbanes wages though, but we have ejected quite a few earners if Mick, Naylor & Fox all go especially.

i agree.if we get 2m for fox then i would just give it straight to hearts.that boy is a good fullback.

 

correct mate, ive seen him match aiden many times, hes the only 1 in the spl who can, big strong fast comfortable on the ball, can get forward 2, would be fantastic for us

 

i agree fox aint been up too much but id still keep him unless mogga has another lb lined up; as for internal issues we can only speculate

 

I don't understand this one to be honest. Something must have happened that we don't know about for Mowbray to get rid of someone who he only brought in 6 months ago and hasn't been that bad to merit being sold. I'm sure all will become clear over the next few weeks.

 

Nothing has happened apart from celtic agreeing to sell a player who is basically not good enough to play for us.

 

Maybe he's ready to give Misun a crack!!

 

i don't think fox is a good player to be honest ! i would be more than happy if he leaves but we need a left back kevin kilbane was mentioned but i don't think he will come for £20,000 a week ! so wallace from hearts for me would be more than capable to play in fox's position in our team

well i still find this strange tbh? why after 6 months?

 

Could be a number of reasons;

Mowbray might of felt he made a mistake and is jumping at the first offer before none come back in.

Fox might be surpluss to Mowbray's requirements in the long run and was only brought in as a short-term fix.

Fox might actually want to move.

Mowbray might just be wanting to make money off of him, albeit a low sum, but profit is still profit at the end of the day.

You also type with an insane amount of question marks, so that may also be a factor in the decision.


We can only speculate why this decision has came around until Tony and Danny release a statement about the whole situation.
