Don't see the * player most others seem to tbh, he was the best thing since sliced bread for the first 4 or 5 games then folk went off him. I reckon he's hard in the tackle and has an excellent left peg, he is a MUCH better option than Naylor and definitely O'Dea.

I'd only be happy with selling him if we did bring in someone like Kilbane who is consistently solid.

I think he's went right off the boil. Mulgrew would be a good, affordable replacement.

We need Fox. He is definitely our best LB. Kind of weird, TM talks about a building a team and is selling a player he bought in July. Really stunned if this transfer goes through.

I would prefer Fox to stay, and truly settle. Although the club have opened the door to him leaving.

About Kilbane, played as a wide player at Sunderland, got stuck in, so much effort, but Fox believe it or not, is a better footballer. nah, i like Fox, think he is good enough for this level.

Evening all, hope you're all well.
Burnley fan here, the rumours are pretty strong in this neck of the woods regarding Fox signing on.

I've got to admit to not knowing a great deal about the fella and reading the post on here it would seem that he's a decent enough player but has lost his way a bit.

We certainly need decent defenders because our goals against column is pretty dire.

What are his strengths and weaknesses?

looking at it from a football point of view what has he realy done, he has had plenty of free kicks, and hasn't come close, not to mention the ones at training and failed, up here you don't get the chance to glide a ball into the box as you do in england.he tends to back pass or his deliver is to slow, and we end up most times off side as a result the forwards can only anticipate the pass but on foxes case, they end up looking back to see why he ain't sent the ball over either he loosed it or back passed it.

Our defence is threadbare enough roght now without letting another player leave without getting a replacement in before selling. so on wednesday we're looking at a defence of

    Hinkel Thompson O'Dea Naylor

maybe mowbray will bring in hooiveld to start instead of starting O'Dea even though hes not match fit, cause i dont see loovens back in contention after the head knock he took.

strenghs >> good with the ball, confident and not bad a passer and pretty good going forward but has lots of weaknesses imo

weaknesses>> doesnt close down opposition and gives them acres of space to get crosses in to the box, also possitioning at times could be a lot better, came in as a bit of a set piece boy but has hit every free kick from shooting distance in to the north stand, he,s not the fastest, delivery could be much better:50:

I must admit my self the boy hasnt done a lot to impress me
