What we need in midfield!!

Yesterday our team was very attacking without nguemo we have no CDM, and even he isnt that great at CDM chases players to much instead of marking space and letting people come to him, we need a big presence in midfield, someone tall or big built who is a cdm, all our cdms are small, ki is pretty big but lightweight

 

I disagree , i thought Ki got stuck in yesterday and didn't let anyone push him off the ball.

Agree with the rest of your post though , too many times the Falkirk midfield were unmarked and were aloud to run at our defence all day long.

 

I'd imagine that's where Brown will be playing when he returns

i was impressed with new kid, however it is a plain fact that we have a powderpuff midfield, and that is one of the main reasons why the huns will not lose to us, i have said it before, we only beat them when we kicked the * out of them, ie hartley \ robson, we need some really forward thinking and hard midfielders, like murdo mcleod etc, roy aitken, we wont win with crosas, he is to weak and only passes side ways.

 

we dont look compact when we defend, we are really open and teams can pass through us, look at birmingham when they defend, everyone back, they defend well as a team

 

We have N'Guemo and Brown for butchery. However, I'm not sure people would like to see Broony in the squad again.

 

They don't necessarily need to be tall or built like a tank, as long as they have the heart of a warrior. Look at Rino Gattuso for example he is a pocket sized battleship in midfield.

We need a hard * in midfield who won't take any prisoners or allow any fellow slackers.

We need a Joey Barton IMO.

 

to much chopping and changing caldwell should not have been sold but thats lawwell for you `fast buck`

 

thinks thats a bit harsh, we can affoard to play just crosas againt the weaker teams, i thought crosas was excellent yestaerday. he was demanding the ball, like the rest of our players to show the sme attitude.

 

Five man mid', it's the only place we got capable footballers.

you can get a bus thro our midfield,if your midfield is weak the defence is under pressure and the dumplings we have at back we will struggle.the wee teams fancy beaten us,cos they work hard from front to back,tm has us wide open the same when at wba.the board,manager have to get * finger out.hail,hail

 

we should sign that barry robson... i hear hes a good player

 

I heard he's past it and doesn't fit in with a passing football mantra. Which is correct.

 

We had 2 players in Hartley and Robson who could play that role and let them both go :-(.

 

What we need is a young Stan Petrov somebody with some determination , pace and and an ability to score .
