Dont believe Clyde one, Celtic would be daft to sell him now. If they really want to cash in they will wait until the summer and not sell our best player right in the middle of an important season. They want to cash in on someone sell Brown

at 10 mill and a player who we really need not 1 offered to us then yes take, why ,aiden is our best player yes, but there are some flaws not going into them, he has been around the first team for 4 or 5 seasons ,will move soon so ,his stock is high he is desired ,look at boruc he has dropped value through poor performances weight issues and losing his international spot.
if it really is 10 mill we have to take ,it takes away the pressure of winning the league to gain cl money and nial mcginn is ready to batter the door down for a chance, imo he is ready to play and would not disappoint ,so its up to aiden ,and if he goes i would wish him the very best and hope he boosts them to a top 5 spot .it makes sense.

No sale ! Aiden loves the club, so why sell him ? Do we need to sell ? No ! Are we in the * financially ? No ! Will we be able to attract someone who has Aiden's individual skill to Parkhead ? Doubtful ! Why not build the team round him ? Its about time these mediocre EPL teams realise that they can't plunder our talent for * money ! If Aiden was in the championship, they would be shelling out the readies big time ! Also i don't think Aiden, a true bhoy , will be fooled by all this EPL bullshit ! Long may he stay, true talent like his comes along far too frequently.

if celtic sold aiden for ten million great for the investors should buy 2 players at 3 million how much wages is a 3million pound player asking for per year 44 weeks x £20,000 = £880,000 x2 £1.760,000 per year too much for us that

Aiden has something money can't buy - he's one of us. On top of that he's head and shoulders above everybody else in the SPL. At this time in the season I definitely would not sell, summer I may consider it but it would have to be crazy money.

we wont get much more than 10 mill for him because he comes from spl that will cap his value ,it shouldnt but it does ,the january window will see us get the best offer as there is less time and options for clubs,we already have a replacement in mcginn who may even have more to his game ,its football evolution we have to join the game.

I think if we got or get offered 12 - 15million he will be sold.

they wont offer that much, they will try and get him for about 7 mill
but we have nothing to gain by selling him.
he can win games for us,with respect to malone and McGinn they
    are not in same class.
the money wouldnt be a benefit as we are ok financially and selling him
would be risking letting the huns win the league with 10-12 mill.that goes
    with it.
we took a risk a year ago and made the wrong decision by not strengthening so selling aiden now
would also be the wrong decision.
he will probably go sometime in the future but as he is not banging down
the door to get out we must keep him for now

McFaddden is not a prolific striker & is also injury prone

I just don't see how we can risk selling McGeady now when we are 7 points behind, Maloney is constantly injured and he has clearly been our best player in the first half of the season.

Birmingham City to offer Celtic £14m for Republic of Ireland winger Aiden McGeady

Birmingham City will make Celtic an offer worth £14million to take Aiden McGeady into the Premier League, Telegraph Sport can reveal.

    I would be very tempted.

If he left now for £14 million ,what damage would that do to the team for the rest of the season and could we still expect to win the league witout him?
I say ,why take this risk.If we don't win the league we will probably miss out on the £10 million from the champions league making him a £4million sell.
If he has to go,not before the summer.

It must be at least 14 million. If we rate him at about 7 million (which I think is fair) he cannot go for less than double his worth. He's too valuable to the team, and his potential is enormous. The reality is that he is not as good as he will be in two years. They have to pay to play.

14M to Celtic is a giant sum. We could get a couple of real quality young players for that, and right now we have to be looking forward. Aiden is not going to always play for us. Sooner or later he is going to get tired of the thugs in SPL trying in injure him and he is going to want European glory. We are a few years away from even being competitive in Europe again. Cash in while the cashing in is good, as long as the price is right.
