Anyone with a good understanding of football wouldn't read anything into the result of the testamonial at Man Utd, or the Coventry game last night.

If anyone is laughing then tbh I wouldn't value their opinion anyway.

Celtic lost a friendly 6-2 to Werder Bremen in 2002, and we went on that season to reach Seville that season.

And this game wasn't even a friendly!

It would be nice to win but its not the end of the world if we don't!
Testimonials are no more than a practice match imo

These games mean sweet F.A people and Keano does not even want to take part but i dare say the players will be more up for it than last night!

Your right Kerr, 100%. We need a new defence, new midfield and new strikers before this game. We could also do with a new keeper and new manager. Sack the fans, we'll get news ones.

Let's just hand the league flag back now and not bother entering the Champions League. We'll get * every game.Maybe we shouldn't turn up against the huns or Hearts either because they're better than Coventry. Maybe we should just chuck it all together. Get a * life and stop worrying about meaningless matches. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS.

the last time we were at old trafford for the giggs game we * pasted them, and the boost the side got from that result was immense, it'll be the same again this time

Once again people overreact to a Celtic defeat and this time its a testemonial match. Yes our bhoys were going treat it like a Old Firm match, get a reality check.

Yes we need more players, everyone knows this, why stay complaining about it? GS has scouting all over the place creating a shortlist for the summer shopping, we just sit on our hands and wait for it to happen.

Do you think Man Utd or Celtic players will be worried about a Testemonial a few weeks before the World Cup finals? They are not even friendly matches.

these games mean * all, we won the league with ease this season and i remember drawin on most of our pre season friendlies this year no?

The testimonial is to pay respect to a legend and play friendly football the result is meaningless

your paying the money for the tribute to the player who's testamonial it is... not to sit and watch a champions league final. we had an under 17s keeper on the bench last night.
