Beaten at conventry?

Who gives a toss! Less then 48 hours after a 'real' match and apparently nobody trying a leg! I dare say the bhoys will be more up for the Man U game.

Say that to the fans who travelled all that way to see the game, and watch us get beaten of coventry, i wouldnt have been happy.

 

are Coventry in the Champions league? hope they're not in our group

also the team was changed and changed and changed

and was their fighting...surely this is of much more concern to Celtic fans

 

honestly...who would be up for a testimonial game...
no one was going to play even close to tops

fine...maybe we would be relegated from tha championship (please...) but we would still finish better than rangers


but take a step back and see what this game for what it was

 

I see those testimonials as a chance to tear up english teams...

 

Right it was a friendly and we got beat i still don't think we should get beat by teams like this .

But i cant see strachan giving the team the big speech about going out there and pumping them its only a friendly and you have to remember we won the league in the quickest time in history we are in the champions league next year hopefully and you should all be proud to be a celtic fan .

well..i hate the fact that celtic lost (on my birthday too...) but im not overly concerned
one way or another, some players got a chance to get some time in a decent environment

 

for anyone concerned with the result you seriously should take a look at yourself... maybe Celtic aint the club to support, what ever happened to loyality ffs!!

Watch the highlights... we were by far the better side with many more chances! Marshall had a shocker which doesn't surprise me but fact of the matter is that you should whind your neck inn it was a testimonial

I was at the game,the first half Celtic really didn,t take too seriously,there was wholesale changes at half time and the Sky Blues sensed an upset and believe me they really upped there game,they really wanted to win and take a big scalp,it really is nothing to get worked up about,i felt sure that if the game had any real meaning the result would have been totally different.As for the fighting all i saw was one minor scuffle with some BNP * who got a well deserved right hander and was ejected so he could crawl back under his stone,i was stood outside the celtic end for ten minutes after the game coz i lost my mate on the way out and i never saw anything happen and we walked back to a local club with some coventry fans and they were all complimentary to the celtic support,fact is the new Ricoh Arena has not seen that many away fans before and it did cause a few hold ups and concerns especially on the way out but nothing that cant be sorted,i work with a lot of sky blues fans and they never saw anything either so i think its all been a bit exaggerated,remember it was a testimonial.
