Should those talks fail and he ends up talking to us at least Lenny will know beforehand that ascertaining how ambitious Celtic are isn't a priority for him.....He obviously has little ambition himself.:84:

oops it looks like the BBC are covering it now, somehow this has made you look a bit foolish.

The reason he'd choose stoke over everton and roma, he'd would have to dislodge either Cahill at everton or Baptista at roma who both play in his position. And the reason he'd go to Stoke is simple, he'd be first choice in the middle of the park for them and a little thing called money.

Maybe next time you might want to take a deep breath and think about the situation, before the dummy gets thrown

listen ppl he maybe still sign he has more or less said himself he wants to make the right desicion so he will be exploring every possabilty in depth , so he will visit each club that intrests him and listen to what they have to say and see the facilitys but with him visiting parkhead and lennoxtown then i would say he is intrested in our club .

Good luck to the boy. He has chance to join an epl team where he is likely to start week in week out. I've seen Stoke called a long ball team but they're not, the actually play football. Apart from the throw-ins!

They have a good manager and I see them in the epl for the forseeable

I don't, they will be relegated in the next 3 year and if that's the type of club he wants to play for then fair play to him!

Scotland is an hour on the plane away it's not as if it's the other side of the world, honestly why would someone pick Stoke over Celtic if the wages are similar?

If he wants a big money move to one of the big clubs in England then why choose Stoke over us he won't see much of the ball in a lot of games and he will win f all. Playing in front of 30,000 crowds.

This move could be detrimental for this young guys career, he should come up here for a season and see how he gets on. I believe being happy in a successful side playing in an inferior league is better than playing in a relegation battle in a better league, wages will be similar I assume.

I won't resent him if that's his choice but I won't feel sorry for him when they get relegated, they are looking for a transfer fee for him and no one wants him as he will be on 25-30g a week!

Did it occurr to any one that he might want to join an EPL team as to get Cardiff some sort of a transfer fee? The club whom he has been at his entire career? And the club that is massively in debt?

That might have been in his mind earlier. They are now under new ownership and from what I've heard they have cleared away a good bit of the debt.

I doubt his agent would care what ever state Cardiff was in. He'd get his client the best deal possible...and if that meant moving on a free transfer then so be it. You actually wonder how much say the players themselves get when moving clubs.

CELTIC are back in the hunt for Cardiff City and Wales ace Joe Ledley, who is expected to make a final decision on his future this week.
Ledley has been expected to sign for Stoke after holding detailed talks with Tony Pulis last week, and the Bluebirds have maintained he will only leave them for a Premier League team.
But we understand Scottish giants Celtic are back on the radar, while Premier newcomers West Brom have also launched an 11th hour bid to sign him.
Celtic and West Brom are each looking to * Ledley from under the noses of Stoke as he reaches decision day.

Ledley, who has also attracted interest from Roma, has told close friends he is torn over which way to go.
But it seems more and more certain he will leave his home-town club, his contract with the Bluebirds having expired.
