Joe Ledley transfer?

I disagree. Wingers are not expected to score 10+ goals a season. McGeady is talented, but people keep slating him telling him he's holding on to the ball too long or he needs to pass it and when he does and get's a well deserved assist people brush it off saying "Oh well he's supposed to do that".... Now people are complaining because he does not score enough, amazing.

 

Of course a winger should be expected to score more than a paultry 8 goals. His final ball is painfully bad most of the time, and 14 assists isn't enough considering he was the only attacking midfielder consistantly in the team this year, and is supposably our best player, and most of our offensive play is centered around him. Also, McGeady should be excused for his lack of effort, just because the rest of the team didn't give a *?? A don't think so. Don't be such a * wae the "Run along now .....:bbpd:" comment either

 

well sorry but ur wrong,i remember wee shaun say at the start of the season that BTM told them they(him and mcgeady),were to get a least 10 goals this season

He did captain the side in a friendly in 09, he was however also the oldest player in the starting 11. So doesnt really say much when Toshack who hasnt a clue names an 11 where the oldest player is 23.

Dont get me wrong I hope he gets back to his old form which would help Cardiff (or hopefully celtic) and Wales. But similar to Miller, Ledley has had one good season and stupid price tags were floating about, so through no fault of his own is massively overrated.

Good player but some people here are getting a little carried away , Joe would be a fantastic coup for us tho on a free with the option of selling him on in the future and making a few quid ,

I think he is a very good player and would be a improvement on Broony he can pass and score .I think he has gone stale at Cardiff and needs to move on could say the same about Mc Geady here .

There's a difference when quotes are involved IMO, when the tabloids come out with pish like the Boyd story then I dismiss it, but look for quotes.

The tabloids are disgraceful, The Sun today for example ran a backpage story saying G-Trap think Bogherra won't make it big at the world cup.

What he actually said had no mention of Bougherra, he only said that African teams are improving but he doesn't expect them to get much further than the quarters. Why the * they had to bring Bougherra into it I don't know.

Well actually I do know, they are * disgraceful and twist words and make up any old * to sell papers.
