Did anyone else notice that they weren't there? The seats were filled but there was no sign and didnt seem to be any sort of display.

Anyone got any idea why this was?

Paul67 no doubt your * chums on the board asked the stewards to confiscate them. All on CELTIC CYBERSPACE know you are their mouthpiece so goodbye .

I personally was disappointed not to see the GB banners at the OF match, I think they bring fun to the match without going overboard. I have to say if these are the new tactics of our board is to discourage these young guys from trying to brighten up Celtic Park, I will be thinking twice about renewing my season ticket next year, I'm getting fed up with over the top stewarding at Celtic Park.

There's more than one viewpoint at Celtic, we have NTV another amusing publications as well as the official Celtic View and the official match programmes, neither of which I buy due to cinical veiwpoints.

I like to open-minded about most Celtic related issues, I have no intention of being brain-washed by Peter Lawwell or any other board member.

It is a shame that a group like this gets a bad name from the off! as all they are doing is tryin to bring a bit of life back at celtic park. But its a group of mainly young lads so ofcourse they are going to have eyes looking at them every where they go!but to refuse entry because they have flags and banners is a disgrace on the stewards and celtic park security behalf.

Are they the mob who had the Grim Reaper "Tick tocking" RFC on a banner when the Lloyds TSB stuff was all over the news? I loved that banner! Which section are the Green Brigade in?

I have some reservations about the Green Brigade but I think their banners have been excellent and I am concerned by the way they seem to be being targeted.

It seems to me that certain people at Celtic fear the possibility of groups that could become influential and think that harassment with make them go away. That is almost invariably a mistake and if anyone at Celtic thinks they can dictate new corporate values to all the fans, they are in for a shock in my opinion.

If you look through prevoius GB threads, you will see why folk think they have alternative agenda's.
Search the forum and you will find several on this.

I think I know the sort of stuff you mean and that's probably the kind of things I have reservations about.

However, I think there should be a basic principle that unless people are actually doing something wrong - rather than believed to be talking about it - they should be allowed to do their thing.

The GB banners have almost invariably scored points over the Huns, one of the best being their one mocking the "offended bus".

This is what happens when you start giving the chairman abuse on a personal front for his previous job i.e singing songs and banners he will be trying to show them whos boss .

Right or wrong I can see this happening more and more and creating a larger divide between them and the powers at be .

celtics over the top stewarding will put a lot of people off renewing season tickets just a few weeks ago a new group were trying to create an atmosthphere when the stewards started to bully them removing a drum they had why?are we not allowed an atmosphere

Same here, I go to watch the football not a card display.

Although the card displays are good and brighten the place up and their banners are usually good, it doesn't bother me that there wasn't any banner on Sunday.
