I believe Celtic will win the League this season.Rangers went into that game full of confidence where as we never and we absolutely rattled them.Mowbray now after that game knows who he is selling and keeping and I reckon he will bring in exactly what we need and bring the trophy back to Paradise were it belongs...Hail Hail

it def going to be about who goes and who stays from both teams.if tony can get a couple more good signings in we will be fine.i have been quite happy with his signings so far.i feel the players letting us down are the ones he inherited mostly the centre backs and big sammy and his misses

There were a good few positives from yesterday. We dominated for long parts of the game, made good chances, kept our discipline. But I hate to say it, but I think that was our best chance to beat rangers this season and we could end up regretting not destroying them. They were missin Miller whos actually scoring goals for fun just now, Beasley (I know hes a wee poof but hes been playin well), Bougherra whos been pretty much their best player, Naismith, Thomson, Mendes. Thats basically half their startin team. I think the next game is goin to be much much harder. That said, i think we showed the spirit and determination thats been lacking, and I hope this can push us on and, with maybe 1 or 2 shrewd signings, get us back to where we belong. 'Mon the hoops.

that was pathetic. they're so dirty it's un believeable. Mc"*"s shoulder into McDonalds back was Pathetic. Typical hun. Weir's dive was pathetic. Laugherty's tackle was pathetic, typical hun.

Most of us have the same thoughts,i am abit miffed to we should have had 3 points for sure but all the people on here that are saying that we will kick on and win the league,i hope you are right! cause i am not feeling it man.
one word "clinical" that's what we have to be up front and the league does not lie.
last year on the 3rd we started the year with a 2.2 draw with DU at home
and went down hill from there, all these games with the lesser teams as ppl call them and we draw will state on here "its only a draw plenty of time left"
we have lost 8 points to Falkirk,m'well,DU and the huns through draws, and another 9 points lost to the shame,DU and Hearts through defeats 17 points gone down the swanny.

we need a stonger back and more proper fire power or Bye Bye to the title for another year

Rangers are 1/2 to win the league now and I think that's about right. For us to stop them we'll have to win 17 of our remaining 20 games and thats well beyond the capabilities of this celtic team. realisitically, its about stopping them doing the treble now.

So you think its over when if celtic pull it back to 4 points ,there's no comeback from it ,with 20 games to go and a team which played the other lot off the park and with new players arriving and some * getting moved on ,,i know where i am putting my money .

rangers are basicly 2 wins 6points better of than us if we winn our game in hand ,if you count goal diffrence ,so they can afford 1 loss and 1 draw and still win the league we would have to win all our games ,realisticly it wont turn out like that, the team that conceeds less goals and scores more would have the better chance ,so it is slipping away ,not lost, we had to beat them well to to put doupt in their minds ,we didnt.

I'm as sick about yesterday as you are, but try to be a little less partisan for a moment - the bookies are saying that 2 times out of 3 Rangers will win the league from this position - whether you like it or not, that's about right. We need loads of chances to score once, they get one chance and score off it - that doesn't augur well for the remaining 20 games.

I couldnt agree more they are there for the taking as i believe yesterday showed. Our luck will change both in attack and defence where we are creating the chances and not taking them, then every mistake we make in defence is being punished but if we can get a goalscorer and experienced defender in this month i think we will push on and win the league.:50:

not seen thier fixtures but guess it shoul be easier cause they have murdered all teams we thought would trouble them ,we are the only ones capable against them and we couldnt do it against an under strength hun team so it says it all to me.

the game after the oldfirm game is a VERY important game. which sucks.. because it's a cup game lol. think it's rather premature to suggest the league is over at -7 points with a game in hand and two more games against them

Fixtures dont matter at all Celtic and rangers still have to play all the teams twice so there's no point in going down that road ,both of them will drop points thats a certainty but the next rangers game at ibrox i would say celtic must win ,they are talking rangers up because of the scores theve rattle in again Utd and Hibs but did they look like this invincible team yesterday ,No ,they are * but yes goals count and celtic never scored enough that is the bottom line but if they do [and they will] start banging goals in i have no worries about the other lot.the season started yesterday in my books and it will be down to those 2 teams again as per usual.

We can still win this with 20 games still to go IMO, with the disclaimer
that we get fair and impartial refereeing from now, which is a big ask.

The ref Conroy gifted that game to Rangers yesterday with his monumental blunders, and Thomson gift wrapped the last Ibrox game to them , so that is two games of an advantage handed to them by diabolical refereeing.

The Huns are coached to be dirty in all the underhand tactics of the day.
It is time the SFA looked into their cheating ways and dirty tactics drummed into them at Murray Park .

Your source ,have they taking into account the money made on players being sold or is this 5 million over and above that ie if Celtic get 3-4 million on selling players is this added on to the 5 million?.

Hi KennyD, the 5mill I was referring to was not dependent on the selling of any of our current squad, so if that should happen it would be a further boost to the fund available to TM.
However I’m not convinced we should be selling any of them as each has something different to offer when called upon e.g. Robson and McDonald (not my favourite player by any means, but he does the business.)
The immediate fixture list would suggest that the huns and ourselves should take full points and therefore no change in the current situation, i.e.We have,
    <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">Falkirk</st1:place> at home on the 16<SUP>th</SUP>,
Killie away on the 20th (rescheduled)
    St.John away on the 24th
Hibs at home on the 27th (I’m coming over for that one)
    And <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Hamilton</st1:place></st1:City> away on the 30th
    While the huns have,
    <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Hamilton</st1:City></st1:place> away on the 16th
Hearts at home on the 23rd
    St.Mirren away on the 27th
And <st1:place w:st="on">Falkirk</st1:place> at home on the 30th
So the months of Feb through April (please don’t let it go to the last game) are going to be very defining one way or the other, but I suppose getting the disappointment of yesterday out of my system, I would have to agree with you that we will come out on top at the end of it all.
It would be an affront to the game itself if that shower were to claim a 2nd championship after being shown up for how devoid of any ideas they have as to how the game should be played, cheers.

why has Celtic not nailed the media and the sfa about standards of refs and to let them of with the excuse as for them to turn and to say we should have won with out the disallowed goal if that goal had stood i have the same right as to say we would have then scored 10 only for that why are we letting them take words from our mouth then returning them to say such as Kenny Clarke says Celtic failed to win NOT. because of that or anything else Steve did or didn"t do
Kenny Clarke the sun total *

be honest, do you think that will happen? in the 10 years smith has managed rangers how many times have we won there? not many
